“Obama’s unfair tax plan”

Looked at logically, it’s a veritable recipe for creating a democratic socialist state run by a liberal fascist dictatorship: take from those who already pay, launder that plunder through the federal government, and give a portion of it to those who already don’t pay.

In such a way do you eventually decrease the number of those who can pay; increase the number of those who can’t; and make all of these reliant on the federal government for their very survival, with the hope that they’ll then “vote their economic interests” — that is, vote for the political party who promises to plunder on their behalf. In large part, the private sector — save for government cronies — disappears — and “income disparity” disappears along with it, leaving only a very wealthy ruling class and the rest of us, who have been regulated and molested into a kind of slavery to the state.

It’s tipping point politics. And it’s craven, anti-American, and quintessentially in keeping with the power relations of Marxism.

But hey: Obama’s got a really swell family! Quite a good man, he is!

I guess what we have in our favor is that the Greens will never allow a massive, man-eating project like Stalin’s canals.

So we’ll at least be at leisure as we starve.

If we succeed in pulling back from the edge and restoring the Republic to the principles on which it was founded, we win, because we have the skills, the drive, and the work ethic to thrive on our own.

If the Cloward-Piven-Alinsky-Marx cabal win, pushing us over the edge and setting the Republic against itself, we still win, because we have the skills, the drive, and the work ethic to thrive on our own, and the weapons to protect and defend the resources and communities we develop.

This isn’t some European or Central American state where the populace is beaten, disarmed, and subservient to the Strong Central Authority. We’re not as far from it as I’d like, but we still have multitudes of quiet, competent neighbors who see through the promises lies and will not allow their children to be shackled to the State.

If we could just get the sick bastards on the other side to realize that they’re not going to win no matter what, maybe they’d stop trying so hard to force the ugly ending. But then, foresight never really was the Marxists’ strong suit.

They thought they had history on their side, squid. Little did they know that Marx knew crap-all about history. Marx was kinda a loser.

  5. McGehee says:

Everything Marx knew about history he learned from Hegel, is what my political thought professor told me. He also said something about some goofy guy with a funny mustache who made some trouble in Europe in the middle of the last century.
