Hey, feel better soon, I hope. Caps are down 4-1 in the early second period, so my gut is wrenching a tad too.

  3. Ernst Schreiber says:

Lay off the peyote and mescal, ‘kay? You should know by now that you can’t keep up with the ‘dillo any more.

  11. Joe says:

With Newt, Ron Paul and Mitt as our choices, I am feeling mighty sick myself.

  13. Squid says:

If you’re not nauseated, you’re not paying attention. Or something like that.

  14. Ouroboros says:

You do know those armadillos have all kinds of germs on those grubby little paws, right ? I mean, Lord knows where they’ve been or what they’ve been doing with them.. and they rarely ever wash them even if you set a big bottle of Soft Soap right next to the sink as a hint.. So next time that filthy ‘dillo of yours offers to hand feed you crunchy Cheetos like you’re a Roman emperor or something, just say ‘no thanks’ .. You’re lucky if all you got was a little stomach ache…

  15. motionview says:

I seem to be hitting “Error establishing database connection” about 1 time in 5 for the past couple of days. Could just be me, I’m always “accidentally” putting things in the wrong hole.

The Media loves to go after pedophiles right? No, the MBM loves stories that advance the cause. So they love pedophile stories when they can be used to destroy non-leftist institutions (Penn State, Catholic Church, Mark Foley/Republican House) but a good Leftist group like Hollywood? The MBM responds with That’s National Enquirer territory. Say, did you see Aaron Sorkin has a new show? And just in time to help the Cause for 2012. Where would we be without the People’s Ridicule Brigade?

  16. McGehee says:

I hope you feel better sooner than these other clowns.

  17. JHoward says:

Good thing they don’t vet our candidates, eh motion? I mean, we’d be all like hey, that’s not a proper subject for an electable frontrunner and all.

  18. JHoward says:

Jeff, does the Young Man bring these bugs home from school? Could be a theme in there.

    At any rate, health-up dude.

  19. Ernst Schreiber says:

I hear the ladies “hate it” when that happens.

I’ve had the same problem. The “error establishing datebase connection” one, not the wrong hole one.

  20. Pablo says:

Yeah, the server is especially wonky this morning. May it an our host have improved and lasting health.

Last Time – OFA, HuffPo, SNL, The 3 Stooges(Stewart, Maher, Colbert), The Shrews (Joy, Whoopie and BaBa), back to Huffpo, Journolist, Leftosphere, MSNBC, 30 Rock, National Print, Network News

In comes a good government, ethical, honest, modest, straight-forward, smart reformer, a practical politician with an abiding belief in the founding documents of the American Experiment, a woman that, with her husband, can raise and feed her family on the tundra or the Bering Straits. Really an exemplar American woman, a personification of what feminism should be.

Out comes the caricature, a gun toting dumb religious zealot Barbarella that gives birth mid-hunt.

Now Sorkin is in place (remember his West Wing version of Newt? John Goodman with an eye patch, a Colonel Sanders suit, and a cane – such a subtle, understated talent) . No matter what goes in, out comes a loser.

Choose not to go in, or choose to lose.

  22. dicentra says:

I get the db error too, from time to time.

  23. Joe says:

motionview, Sorkin’s alternative reality universe was great Dem propaganda (and a bunch of bullshit) but I do recall when President Bartlet fucknuts stepped down (when his daughter was kidnapped), John Goodman as speaker of the house was actually a sympathetic character. They also had conservatives praising the president for actually following the constitution (I forget why there was no Veep and the story was rather implausible) but I remember thinking at the time I wished Newt was actually more like the John Goodman character.

  24. Joe says:

As for 30 Rock, I admit I like it when Baldwin parodoies a conservative. It is about the only time Alec Baldwin makes any sense. It is the only decent work he has done since Glenn Gary Glen Ross and Thomas the Tank Engine.
