Reuters: “Bush seen with debate edge over Kerry”
U.S. President George W. Bush’s ability to stick to a simple, Rove-generated script of his policies on Iraq and terrorism should give the monosyllabic chimp an edge over his nuanced, cultured, Democratic rival Senator John Kerry in Thursday’s presidential debate, analysts say.
[…] The keen-minded and intellectually superior Kerry will likely showcase new hard-hitting language about chaos and casualties in Iraq by accusing Bush of mismanaging the war and diverting U.S. attention from the hunt for al Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden.
But analysts say Bush has recently neutralised Iraq as a political liability—at least in the minds of many moronic American voters—through campaign ads and stump speeches that have boiled a very complex issue down to a series of scripted soundbites meant to spoonfeed fatheaded biblethumping Wal-Mart shoppers a sense of strength and optimism, despite overwhelming empirical evidence that President McShrub has taken the nation in a catastrophic direction sure to lead to the the destruction of the known universe.
So I paraphrased a bit. But close enough.

Er, I don’t wanna tell you how to do your job, but you neglected to throw in any references to Hitler.
I’m just sayin’ is all…
That is not the perfect country and western song. It doesn’t say anything about mama. or trains. or trucks. or prison. or gettin’ drunk.
I think “destruction of the known universe” got the point across.
I believe the proper terminology is “fake but accurate” these days.
Paraphrased?
Where???
Sounded right to me, for a Reuters “news” disptach.
Well, maybe it *did* veer a bit towards fair & balanced.
For them.
I knew that it wasn’t Reuters because the word President wasn’t in quotes.
So? That’s not what they actually wrote?
I was surprised, upon following the link, to see how little you had changed. This is unusually slanted even for “Reuters”.
? ?????, ??? ??? ??????? ????.
