just take a veiled shot at the first half Black President?

Historic!

Billy Jeff whining has never been an attractive sight … now he’s mad that the MSM has slipped up in not giving the Democrats control of the narrative (regardless of facts) from top to bottom

“I go crazy every time I read the conventional wisdom,” he said Friday night at his presidential library in Little Rock, Ark. “So part of the Republican narrative is that I was ‘saved’ from myself by the election of the Republican Congress [in 1994] that ‘forced me’ to do welfare reform and ‘made the balanced budget possible.’”

Where upon he goes into the usual lies about the TEA Party being anti-government … yadda yadda yadda

I think his vegan diet has shrunk his brain

“So part of the Republican narrative the truth is that I was ‘saved’ from myself by the election of the Republican Congress [in 1994] that ‘forced me’ to do welfare reform and ‘made the balanced budget possible.’”

    FTFY, Bill.

  3. McGehee says:

I think another thing that saved him from himself was the collapse of HillaryCare before it could be passed by Congress.

Barry’s ” . . . gotten a little soft . . . over the last two decades . . . ” takes us back to 1991 at the maximum, so includes the totality of Clinton’s two terms, hence it wouldn’t be surprising to see Clinton engage in some pushback. It gets funny though, when Clinton finally decides he needs to point to Barry’s complete ignorance of the American spirit, if not simple historical understanding of itself. Bill only means Barry is soft in the head.

Funny how when Bill mis-remembers things they always are skewed in the direction that makes him the heroic smartest guy around at the time. As with the left’s ratchet only moving in one direction, leftward, Bill’s memory only ratchets to his favor.

Maybe Newt or Dick Armey will weigh in as they were there too and I expect their memories are a bit different from Bill’s.

Why am I reminded of the Criminal Minds unsubs whenever progressives get to talking about themselves?

When it was Mr. Hamm’s turn to talk briefly with President Obama, “I told him of the revolution in the oil and gas industry and how we have the capacity to produce enough oil to enable America to replace OPEC. I wanted to make sure he knew about this.”

The president’s reaction? “He turned to me and said, ‘Oil and gas will be important for the next few years. But we need to go on to green and alternative energy. [Energy] Secretary [Steven] Chu has assured me that within five years, we can have a battery developed that will make a car with the equivalent of 130 miles per gallon.'” Mr. Hamm holds his head in his hands and says, “Even if you believed that, why would you want to stop oil and gas development? It was pretty disappointing.”

Washington keeps “sticking a regulatory boot at our necks and then turns around and asks: ‘Why aren’t you creating more jobs,'” he says. He roils at the Interior Department delays of months and sometimes years to get permits for drilling. “These delays kill projects,” he says. Even the Securities and Exchange Commission is now tightening the screws on the oil industry, requiring companies like Continental to report their production and federal royalties on thousands of individual leases under the Sarbanes-Oxley accounting rules. “I could go to jail because a local operator misreported the production in the field,” he says.

Rush Limbaugh has been a jewel for some 23 years now. Just sayin’. I’d rather hear his take than Gingrich’s.
