Socialists do tend to clarify the classes so, don’t they?
But don’t get too comfortable, you obscenely wealthy millionaire and billionaire two-income families making $250K a year, spread over 3 kids, college tuition, and your underwater mortgage payments. Obama is coming for your jets. Which he plans to sell off at a huge loss, take a portion for the Democrat party apparatus, and then distribute the remains Emperor-like to all the poor people, who will be, like, totally stoked as a result.
So. Take that, fat cats! Never let it be said the Democrats aren’t looking out for the little guy.
90k a year is rich?
The fact that you could even ask such a question means that your assets must be confiscated and given to those who deserve it more.
Funny, $90,000 is the average salary of a tenured professor at simplyhired.
I wonder if they bothered to correct for party affiliation. Somehow I doubt it. I don’t answer polls, and I don’t take surveys either, though I have in the past.
It does rather clarify whom the Democrats work for, as opposed to who they say whom they work for.
(I think I got that gramatically correct)
spread over 3 kids, college tuition, and your underwater mortgage payments.
And that small-business loan.
Plus payroll.
And rent for your struggling business.
Oh, and the Cessna.
They can have my Gulfstream when they pry it from my cold, dead, fingers!
The poor are most fucked by a bad economy. Plus they did not get all that free shit from Obama.
Well Steph, if making $200K/year makes you a “millionaire or billionaire” then 90K/year must mean you’re rich. And don’t try to hide behind that prole name Luvvy, we know you and Thurston have diamonds stashed away in that coconut.
90k is by no means broke. Having 3 children does not just happen. It’s not magical. It’s a thought out financial decision.
Perhaps your finances would be a bit more in order if you learned some family planning basics.
Is that comment for real?!

I can’t see avatars in the mobile version, but I’ll bet confitador’s would be recognizable to Mark Halperin.
“family planning basics” -> abort the little bastards.
Confitador is wrong. It is too magical –if you’re doing it right.

Yea, but 90k is by no means RICH. Especially if you’re paying your own health insurance. And you lost all the value in your house.
Perhaps our finances would be a bit more in order if Obama would promise to become a full-time golfer in 2012.
You know what IS magical? How Obama’s bending the cost curve has caused our health insurance costs to double in the last two years.
I think Confitador is just being a dick.
Anyone having three kids is sorta awesome. ‘Cause lots of other people aren’t. (Myself included.)
The only statement of truth ever uttered on MSNBC. Hopefully it’ll be posted somewhere by the time I get home.
90K is RICH. That’s how 250K is MILLIONAIRE AND BILLIONAIRE TERRITORY.
THE NEW MATH!
Pure quality, Jeff. You have to read this and hear Sam Kinison delivering the goods.
Reality. You can’t make this stuff up. You laugh or you cry.
I have to go wax my Gulfstream now. Right.
$90k/yr might seem rich if I had a Tony Rezko-type guy to fix me up some sweet real estate deals.
Awaiting my denoucement in 5… 4… 3…
I was doing OK with four kids on 70k, but then someone told me about cable TV. No new kids, but I’m at twice the salary and can’t afford gas.
Cancel the cable, ditch the cell phone and make due with dial-up.
OT: Though it is about “the rich” and looking out for the little guy by Democrats.
The nineties don’t seem that far away, at least to me. I remember when the 60 million, that’s “M” million, dollar failure of a little “saving and loan” and some tiny, hundreds of thousands of dollars in manipulations called “Whitewater” almost brought down a sitting President.
Now there is a 3 billion dollar fraud which was part of what we bemusedly refer to as the “housing crisis” and one such as I who tries hard to keep up with all the ins and outs has never heard of Taylor, Bean & Whitaker or Lee Farkas. $3 billion, 50 times the failure of Madison Guaranty and it is hardly a blip on the financial radar. Now we do fraud in trillions or it just isn’t noticed.
We do imprison the small $3 billion fish, so they are noticed by the legal system. Unlike the ones who work in the trillion dollar range. Like Franklin Raines, Jamie Gorelick, Barney Frank, Chris Dodd. We need a new term for these types. As the large corrupt, bankrupt firms are called “too big to fail” these corrupt bankrupt persons are “too big to jail.”
Home! and with a significant scholarship offer. 80%. Woot!
Great news, Stephanie! Fingers crossed that the President doesn’t do to golf what he’s done to everything else he touches.
Stephanie, that’s terrific. The bad news is Obi wants to quarter three indocumentados in your dorm room. Turns out the Third Amendement doesn’t cover illegal aliens.
