Now we just need something like this to happen to Mitt.

The last straw for the campaign staff was Gingrich’s decision to go on a two-week cruise in the Mediterranean, from which he returned on Tuesday. His advisers urged him not to go and take so much time from a campaign that was already in trouble. But his wife wanted him to go and she won the argument.

Geez, how many dick shots have politicians been tweeting?

there was a significant drop in the number of tweets by lawmakers, who tweeted about 28 percent less the week of May 30 to June 3 than the previous week, according to a study by TweetCongress […]

The day Weiner held his press conference when he admitted he lied about being hacked, there was a noticeable decline in tweets by Democratic lawmakers. On Monday, June 6, there were only 120 tweets from Democrats. That’s about 30 percent less than the frequency of tweets two Mondays before. On the Republican side, 338 tweets were sent the Monday of Weiner’s presser, about an 18 percent drop from two weeks before.

    Here’s another jerk off.

If the GOP primary winner is a milquetoast (Mitt Romney, whoever this Huntsman jagoff guy is) then a Trump 3rd party would be like Ross Perot’s Cult Of Personality.

If the GOP primary winner is a real deal candidate, then let Donald Trump go down like John Anderson, if anyone remembers him.

My strong advice is to ignore Donald Trump when he’s talking about running for President. If and when he ever files the paperwork, that could be subject to change. But not until then.

I’m starting to worry that Trump is going to jump in as an independent and split the non-leftist vote.

Trump should go for mayor of NYC.

He built half the city; might as well run all of it.

And really, for a true blue New Yawka (hey, that’s what it sounds like to me) like Trump, isn’t POTUS the consolation prize?

Um, hello? I’m pretty sure that playing golf and going on vacation is what people call “leadership” these days.

Maybe Newt just isn’t tan enough.

You know what? Let’s not get too excited over this just yet. I knew I was feeling a strong sense of déjà vu:

We all know how that worked out.

I also want to see us become more energy efficient. I’m told that we use almost twice as much energy per person as does a European, and more like three times as much as does a Japanese citizen. We could do a lot better. I’d like to see our vehicles, and our homes, and our systems of insulation and so forth become far more efficient. I believe that we have a role in trying to encourage that to happen.

  22. LBascom says:

Europeans and Japanese probably use 80 times more energy than your average Kenyan.

    Fucking energy hogs…

Shorter Mitt: Hey, I’m just like the Democrats, but vote for me anyway!

  24. B. Moe says:

I wonder if Mitt has ever stayed with an average European?

I did, back in 96. The average house didn’t have a large water heater, they had little units than hung over the sink and shower that you filled right before you used them and heated as needed. You wet yourself up in the shower, turned the water off while you washed, then rinsed off.

No clothes dryers, all clothes were air dryed. No a/c. Saw very few vacuums, mostly hardwood floors.

Starting to get the picture? Good luck selling that here, I am thinking.

Shit like this is why I call him “Mildred.” That really needs to catch on, I think.

Who the hell is Huntsman anyway? What kind of establishment republican rock did he slither from under?
