Babies can’t express their emotions in the same complex way that adults do. Although they do let you know when they’re angry, bored, or happy, they can’t express love or humor in the first few months. But that’s beginning to change. By 5 months your baby shows a strong attachment to you by raising his arms when he wants to be picked up and by crying when you leave the room. He may also give you hugs and kisses. And he’s beginning to get the joke

Smart kid. Has he declined the Democratic VP nomination yet?
What a coincidence! My 3 year old is in the middle of potty training, and every time he takes a dump, he looks in the toilet and says: “Moore Poopy”
Now I know what he’s been trying to tell me all this time!

It’s those first few words that you’ll never forget; mama, dada, poopy, schmuck… Cherish these tender moments, always.
That man looks just like mommy’s booby!
Get that kid to an opthamologist, *fast*.
Not that I mind, but my wife noted the other day that Moore’s boobs were bigger than hers. And she’s nursing.
Calling Michael Moore-lard-please a booby is disparaging and patently offensive to a most admirable and desirable female asset. I prefer to think of him as whale excrement and/or centipede toe jam.
Ahh, the things they say. While playing a game of Apples to Apples, my lovely 11 year old played the card “Bill Clinton” to “unscrupulous.” I wept. It was a very proud moment in my parenting career.
LOL!
