Paul Ryan sets the record straight

On ObamaCare accounting.

Not that we needed him to. But maybe Bill Frist will see this, and it’ll temper that erection ObamaCare gives him.

Bill Frist: So long as you are on the side that benefits from Obamacare, who gives a shit who has to pay for it and what the costs are.

  2. Joe says:

Link giving the “forbidden” server message again. Is that like the Lambada?

  3. dicentra says:

Ha. Funny 403 message, yo. I almost fell for it until I actually read it.

  4. Jeff G. says:

Actually, the link got screwed up. Fixed now.

  5. happyfeet says:

didn’t we already have this piece?

that’s why the corrupt Bill Frist has such a hard-on for the socialisms I think

  6. Bob Reed says:

I believe that the young-unz would say that Ryan “owned” the Dems vis-a-vis the accounting connivances of Obamacare. He lays it all out well here, and we would be all served well to remember his more simplistic explanation: “if Obamacare is deficit neutral, as it’s proponents insist based on the CBO report at it’s time of passage, why does the CBO say at the same time that it will increase the debt?”

And Bill Frist needs to get with the program, or just get…

  7. ProfShade says:

Ryan talks too fast. And uses big words. Until I hear them singing about it on Amercan Idol this week, I don’t think we have a chance or making headway on this issue.

  8. Jim in KC says:

This is not a bug, it’s a feature. The feds do something stupid. A crisis is created. The crisis is not wasted. The feds do something stupid. Repeat.

Next thing you know, we’re taking aspirin for cancer and doing surgery with Dremels and hunting knives.

  9. happyfeet says:

    a very special Glee

  10. LBascom says:

I’m less concerned about the cost than the control government is assuming over our lives.

    Obamacare: 1 trillion dollars.

Control over every decision affecting the health of the individual: priceless

  11. ProfShade says:

Agrred, LB. To bend an old saw: “When they have your health, they have everything….”

  12. sdferr says:

    Record? What record?

Now that right there is some of the most unintentionally funny shit I’ve seen in a long long time.
