There are less productive ways to spend your time. Ping pong with Dustin Diamond comes to mind, for instance.
What Bill’s stream of consciousness had that so many discussions of the topic lack were two things. One is respect for the argument of the other side and the second is a recognition that there is no perfect answer. I know that I’ve lost my taste for absolute answers to the question.
