Has it really been five hours since I last posted?

You know who’s kinda cute? That Katie Holmes, that’s who. I was thinking about maybe watching The Hired Hand later tonight, but now I’m leaning toward Wonder Boys instead.

Yeah, I think I’ll go with Wonder Boys. Thanks, blog. You’re such a great listener.

[update: I watched “A Scandal in Bohemia,” with Jeremy Brett as Sherlock Holmes. But that had everything to do with me and nothing to do with you, blog.]

Take it from me, you should think about getting a life.

    I don’t have one, personally, but I hear they’re really….cool.

ps: let me know how it works out, ok?

    Luv,

    Rick

The Wonder Boys is an ideal movie for an English professor.

You are an English professor, aren’t you?  I thought I read that somewhere.

And Michael Douglas plays a *dope-smoking* English professor, no less.

    Perfecto.

If you like Katie Holmes, you should watch The Gift.  Trust me.

Seen both Wonder Boys and The Gift.  Like Wonder Boys better as a film.

Joe:  I’ve been known to teach a little English, but presently I’m at home with my son.

I am a major Jeremy Brett-as-Sherlock Holmes fan, so don’t toy with me.

In my book, he was the best, and I’ve read Conan Doyle and seen most of the Holmes films out there. he just gets every nuance of Holmes’ barely concealed neuroses, humor, brilliance, etc. okay, I’m outed as a hardcore fan-geek. I don’t even recognize the other Holmes, Katie, and I just saw The Ice Storm about a week ago…

PS you haven’t lived as a Holmes/Brett watcher until you’ve seen The Solitary Cyclist. enjoy!

Watching that one tonight, tee bee.
