I disagree. I think come convention time M. Kerry will surprise everyone and go with a wheel of brie. And of course a nice Chilean Caliterra Syrah to shore up the hispanic vote. Arriba!
But Evan Bayh would be his second choice.

As a Hoosier, I can say but one thing in response to our apple-cheeked, fair haired Senator being a possible Veep nominee:
Please? Take him? Open up that senatoral slot for someone else, please. The entire state would thank you. Well all of us but the dead voters in Lake County who elected him, perhaps.

If he ran with Kerry, he would have to publicly take so many outspokenly liberal positions that he would NEVER be relectable here!
I don’t think Kerry will be the nominee, but he and Maxine Waters make a very cute couple.
Kerry and Big Ted are just softening Bush up for Hillary by keeping the heat on so she can have clean hands when she graciously accepts the nomination and names Richardson as her running mate.
Kerry? Oh he’ll be disposed of one way or the other. Even the worst leftwing nutcase wouldn’t want him on the ticket. His whole life has been spent in public and he’s said and done quite a few things that won’t be vote getters now.
That and the soft voice of Louis Armstrong singing “I’m Just a Gigolo” in the background of Bush’s ads will be enough to show him up as the laughing stock he is.
