Given that I live in Utah, I don’t go through much. But being at Cornell was interesting. No one was rude enough to slag on me to my face, and they thought it was cool to have someone there who was practically Amish, because it helped their multi-culti bona fides.

They were eager to make sure that all their wine-and-cheese soirees also included fruit juice, but they had absolutely no curiosity whatsoever about my beliefs, most of the time.
