FYI

I’m a Zogby skeptic, but for what it’s worth, have at it.

Or, as Billy Hoyle might say, “THE MUSTARD IS OFF THE HOTDOG!”

49 Replies to “FYI”

  1. Bob Reed says:

Of course, they only interviewed racists and Jooooooos. That’s why they’re not accurately reflecting the publics TRUE reaction to O!s awesomely-awesome speech.

I mean, ask Keith Olbermann or Chris Tingle…They’ll set you straight

  2. Mr. Pink says:

God I hope I am alive to see the day Olbermann and Mathews share their feelings on O!’s concession speech to McCain on November 5th. I am sure they will say it was the greatest thing since the Gettysburg Address

  3. PC says:

    yahoooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. Bob Reed says:

    But Mr. Pink,
I thought his descent from Mount Obamus on Thursday was ALREADY the greatest thing since the Gettysburg Address…THEY TOLD ME SO!!!

No Wait…My bad…That should be the greatest thing since the “I have a dream” speech…

I gotta keep my talking points straight!

  5. McGehee says:

So, who’s up for a road trip to Florida Ohio Pennsylvania to tamper with the voting machines and steal another election.

    I’ll bring the beer.

  6. thor says:

That poll is as wrong as a Sunday morning abortion.

  7. Mr. Pink says:

Bob I think I can look into my magic 8 Ball and tell you what his concession speech, if he loses, will look like.

“Let us settle this in court”

  8. lee says:

    I don’t think so Pink.

    I smell landslide.

  9. dicentra says:

The far Left is tone-deaf, and Obama is the poster-child for that tendency. He has no idea how his craving for grandiosity comes across to other people, but then, no narcissist does.

Which is how you can spot them: if Obama’s grandiosity resonates in their soul, they’re probably narcissists themselves.

Unless, of course, you work for MSNBC, in which case you’re just a huge mirror who reflects the reality of the moment.

  10. Topsecretk9 says:

So, who’s up for a road trip to Florida Ohio Pennsylvania to tamper with the voting machines and steal another election.

Don’t worry McGhee, I already have it covered ::wink::

  11. Spies, Brigands, and Pirates says:

That poll is as wrong as a Sunday morning abortion.

You smell of fear and EPIC FAIL, thor. As does Obama.

    Sorry.

  12. capitano says:

Voters had a temper tantrum .

  13. Bob Reed says:

“Comment by Mr. Pink on 8/30 @ 8:59 pm #”

    So Mr. Pink,
You think he’s from the Al Gore school of political advancement?

Do ya think he keeps his hope-n-change in a “lock-box” at night?

    I’m jussayin’…

  14. Big Bang Hunter (pumping you up) says:

“That poll is as wrong as a Sunday morning abortion.”

    – You’re “prolly” right thor. By Sunday morning, tomorrow morning in fact, the CandyMan will probably be down another 2 or 3 points. By tuesday, when the Gallup is updated, who knows how badly he’ll sag.

    – You might as well suck it ip and deal with it thor-boy. Your side just isn’t very good at this election stuff.

  15. Big Bang Hunter (pumping you up) says:

    – Oh, and it was Chic Hern, voice of the Lakers (when Jerry West and Chamberlin played) that popularized “mustard off the hotdog”.

  16. B Moe says:

Aren’t these polls traditionally biased in favor of the Dems?

  17. ixnay on the iasbay, Wilder B Moe

  18. E. Nough says:

Well, if the polls aren’t going his way, Mr. New Politics & Friends aren’t above having a political rally at a funeral.

  19. Major John says:

    Zogby…meh.

Of course, while sitting here all defeated by the “Minutemen” of the “Revolution”, I see that Mr. Moore has already discerned that God is already showing his favor of Sen. Obama. By smiting the people of the South with a hurricane.

  20. happyfeet says:

Baracky peaked too soon. From a marketing point of view how can he be more popular at this point than a superfly rockstar what made Jessica Alba rub her impregnated womb like it was a magic lamp and what little Brucie Springsteen endorsed and what Oprah hath blessed with her blessed eyelashes and what Al Gore came down from the mountain to deemeth worthy and good? He can’t. And in another month he’ll be the sixth Backstreet Boy. There just aren’t enough issues of Time magazine between now and November to move the dial, and NPR is just preaching to its rich white liberal choir. It’s very sad. Cause the thing is there’s nothing they can do to make the peoples get more hatey towards Bush. They used it all up and now they don’t have anymore and if they try they’ll just make Baracky and M’chelle look even angrier.

  21. ThomasD says:

Did anyone else hear the NPR interview with Geraldine Ferraro yesterday? When asked who she’s voting for she replied “when I go into the voting booth I will make my decision.”

  22. TomB says:

    Just a Sunday morning update:

The left is now concerned that Gov. Palin won’t be spending enough “quality time” (commenter on Alhouse’s blog) with the fake son (DKos), who was the product of an incestuous relationship between her husband and daughter (comments @ DKos), after shehad her ex brother-in-law tasered (anywhere you look) and has Down’s because she didn’t immediatlely fly back to Alaska from Texas when her water broke (Alan Colmes).

    Is that about it?

  23. B Moe says:

From E Nough’s link to Newsday’s account of the Wellst… I mean Stephanie Tubbs Jones Memorial, here are Newsdays “related links”:

    *Candidate Obama photos

    *Young Barrack Obama photos

    *Barrack Obama in the news

    *The making of Barrack Obama

*Barrack Obama’s journey of life on Google maps

    Who were they burying again?

  24. Big Bang Hunter (pumping you up) says:

    -#22

    – Wasn’t that the same gutter-snipe based community that were whining just last week that we shouldn’t ask anything about Edwards actually documented, and admitted illegitimate baby/extra marital dalliances under the nose of his cancer riddled wife because its no one else’s business?

    – Hmmm, guess not. No group could possibly be that hypocritical, particularly when its all based on rumors and innuendo, now could they?

    – The turds of the Left are really getting desperate.

    – As for Cholmes, one more outlandish unsubstantiated comment like that onair, and his ass would be history.

  25. B Moe says:

I used to kind of feel sorry for Colmes, because he seemed so out of his league on H&C, but after reading his blog and listening to his radio show and realizing what a nasty little prick he is, I don’t so much any more.

  26. TomB says:

    Ooops, almost forgot:

According to Andi Sullivan, the Palins are Satan worshippers because they took the names of their first two daughters, Willow and Piper, from TV shows that featured witches.

Even though those shows didn’t premiere until after the girls were born.

Peering into the future, that’s how devilish those Palins are…

  27. TomB says:

    – As for Cholmes, one more outlandish unsubstantiated comment like that onair, and his ass would be history.

No, it’s OK, really. He deleted it from his website, so its ALL GONE NOW!!!

  28. McGehee says:

Willow is the name of a town near Wasilla — at one time, planned to become the new state capital.

Piper, not so sure. Airplanes? Private aviation in Alaska? Nahhhhh, couldn’t be.

  29. Big Bang Hunter (pumping you up) says:

    – Some more of the legacy media’s brand of Leftist humor from the former chair of the DNC, Don Fowler, here at RedState.

    – The Left aren’t just ideologs. They’ve sold their souls to partisan politics.

  30. TomB says:

Willow is the name of a town near Wasilla — at one time, planned to become the new state capital.

Piper, not so sure. Airplanes? Private aviation in Alaska? Nahhhhh, couldn’t be.

Noooo! It is the deebil. Can’t you see!

Anybody know what the name of Andi Sullivan’s beagle is?

  31. Alan Colmes says:

has Down’s because she didn’t immediatlely fly back to Alaska from Texas when her water broke.

It’s true! The baby called John Edwards right before it was born!
    Let me out!
    Let me out!

  32. The Lost Dog says:

    BBH,

    What’s a “wach”?

Sorry. That just popped right out…

  33. The Lost Dog says:

“That poll is as wrong as a Sunday morning abortion”

Well, thor. Speaking of Sunday morning abortions…

  34. Big Bang Hunter (pumping you up) says:

    – That TLD, should have been “each”.

    – Oh thor had it correct altight, he just had the wrong order. McCain 47, Obama 45.

    – Maybe Obama might be able to concentrate better at keeping his lower lip above the waterline of the polls if he didn’t have to spend so much time making excuses for the scum mouths of his followers.

    – With supporters like Moore, Fowler, thor, and Colmes, and a host of other douchenozzels and thier cesspool comments, the CandyMan will be lucky to make it to the debates.

Not spending enough time with the child: http://althouse.blogspot.com/2008/08/wild-speculation-that-sarah-palin-is.html, comments by “Merge Divide” around midnight.

Incest: comments in the DKos thread, I ain’t goin there.

Water-break delaying caused Down’s: down Alan Colmes’ memory hole.

  36. TomB says:

New one hot off the presses:

The Palin’s oldest son was born only EIGHT MONTHS after they “eloped”.

    Those devil-worshiping, child-molesting perverts may have had pre-marital sex!!!11!eleventyone!!!

  37. Big Bang Hunter (pumping you up) says:

    – I’m watching the trail of unbelievable garbage coming from the mouths of the Left, and it almost seems like they have a death wish for their candidate.

    – Hmmm….When you think about it, this is the perfect opportunity for Hillerys supporters to torpedo Obama’s chances completely by making the worst possible statements on the blogs, in the media, and in public. But they wouldn’t do that, now would they?

    – This election cycle is the best EVAH!

    – Pass the popcorn.

  38. Big Bang Hunter (pumping you up) says:

    – In fact, it wouldn’t surprise me in the least if Bill and Hillery sent the McCain camp a letter of congratulations with a large donation, anonymously of course.

  39. TomB says:

You know, the more I look at Americablog’s story, the more confused I get.

What is their point? They didn’t have a child out of wedlock. They didn’t abort him. They are still married.

I think the devil-worshipping is a better angle.

  40. Big Bang Hunter (pumping you up) says:

    – Hey thor. Where you at this morning? We need your expert update on the tracking pools. Wake up genius, you’re letting “downs” on the job.

  41. Pablo says:

Tom B, what you see is desperation.

  42. Pablo says:

Hey thor. Where you at this morning?

thor is busy being a diarrhetic squeakhole this morning.

  43. The Lost Dog says:

    “Faked pregnancy”

    Jeebus, Mary, and Guiseppi!

    I love creativity!

Where the hell is thor, now that we need him?

No fucking allowed if you are a “conservative!

  44. furious says:

Whatever the merits of Zogby’s polling methods (always suspect) the Zogby poll was taken after the Palin announcement. Rassumussen and Gallup are rolling averages including samples taken before the Palin announcement.

We’ll know more when the Gallup and Rassmussen sampling catches up to the news cycle. But I must admit I get a thrill up my leg from the flopsweat and fear on the Dem talking-point quiz-shows.

  46. happyfeet says:

I put this here for Carin.

Though residents as a group would contribute the most money toward the development of renewable power, he said they ultimately would save because the legislation would lead to fewer coal or nuclear plants being built and help customers become more energy-efficient.

That is one effed up little state I think.
