Not to eat human flesh, but beyond that, it’s pretty wide open.
It is entirely appropriate to recognize that the great apes have an inherent right to life, freedom and not to be subject to torture. This is a good thing to do. I hope it will be done here in the US soon as well.
Yet pestering bulls is still permitted.
I didn’t know we had rampant ape torture here in the states. I can see how this might be a problem in Spain.
This all sounds fine and dandy until a family of gibbons buys the house next to you and ruins your property value.

Oh, I’m all over this. I published a paper once about El palacio de los monos, a play by Spaniard Luis Riaza.
Unfortunately, I remember almost nothing about either the play or the paper that I wrote. It’s not online, and I’m pretty sure it was a load.
It was a crummy play, besides. I think it got produced maybe once.
