Biggest Douchebag in the World [Dan Collins; UPDATED]

explains that his words are subject to misinterpretation, Bush’s are not. “Cold-blooded killers” unleashed upon America by “hounds” of war are those in his administration “who may someday be charged with war crimes,” presumably by the sorts of agencies capable of ham-sandwich indictment that have nothing better to do than send an inspector to the United States to investigate charges of racism.

At long last, Mr. Douchebag, have you lost perspective so completely as to suggest that the simple bringing of politically-motivated charges against a person or persons is tantamount to guilt? Have you become such a demagogue in your insane self-regarding dishonesty as to believe that simply because you deplore a thing in your tiny, craven mind it constitutes a crime? You, sir, are a spittle-flecked, tumescent-faced dickhead of the first water, and simply because your snickering toadies at MSNBC applaud your pompous juvenile tantrums does not make you one whit the more intelligent, you malignant brain tumor.

You give douchebags the world over a bad name, you enema . . . no, colostomy bag.

UPDATE: Hilarious. From a blog that bills itself as concerned with Libertarian & Constitutional Linguistics, run by . . . Chuck Adkins!

TUESDAY, MAY 20, 2008A Perfect example of what is wrong with the modern day Republican Party.

I mean, I can understand people not liking what Keith Olbermann said, but it is really necessary to be that damned nasty about it?

I mean, after all, he did clarify what he meant.

Don’t get me wrong, I believe in free speech, but this sort of nonsense is uncalled for.

    You spiced tea bag!

  3. Big Bang Hunter (pumping you up) says:

    – The Yomama is expected to ratchet it back a bit in his Iowa “non-victory” party tonight. The true believer gaggle is getting pugnaciously transperant in their moves lately. This wasn’t designed, of course, to give the Laft-press media a way on redirecting their coverage away from Kentucky. Of course not. parish the thought. I’m almost starting to feel a bit of sympathy for RoboBitch. At the very least I hope she dogs his ass all the way to the convention floor. May 31st is going to be “D” day fro the Dems, in more ways than one.

(Note: I’m pointedly ignoring the other O!(douche). Hes playing the infamy card, trying to keep his ugly face in the spotlight, so fuck him.)

  4. Largenfirm says:

No, Dan, tell us what you really think!

  5. DAVEINBOCA says:

Who was it that said that his ankles are sprayed daily with RAID so the bugs don’t crawl up to that big CANDY ASS!

Barack’s Rules of Disorder: Don’t talk about family, don’t talk about policies, don’t talk about past associations and ABOVE ALL don’t talk about my messianic anointed mission from God to teach backwards folks all about how stupid they are & how I’m an elitist “Magic Negro”[h/t: LAT]

I float like a butterfly, sting like a drone.

  6. Sticky B says:

I grieve for our country that there is even a market for Mr. Olberman’s psychosis.

  7. Toby Petzold says:

Olbamamann is a disgrace. A pseudo-intellectual propagandist and a lying sack of it. I enjoy watching him get slapped around.

  8. JD says:

He is a mendouceous disingenuous lying crapweasel.

  9. Slartibartfast says:

I’m absolutely ashamed to admit that I recognize that picture. And I thought I’d used the brain-brillo enough to forever remove that image.

I couldn’t eat for a week or so, after that. Ugh. Ick.

  10. Roy Mustang says:

Olbermann isn’t a disgrace. Nasty people like him are a dime a dozen. MSNBC is the disgrace.

  11. Dan Collins says:

I should never have posted that, Slart, but in my defense, she said she swallowed.

  12. B Moe says:

On Chuckies new blog he self-describes as the “Jack O’Brian of the blogoshere”. That boy really is certifiable.

  13. JD says:

I think that the list of people that I respect less than Keith Olbermendoucheous is incredibly short.

  14. dorkafork says:

Really? The same Chuck Adkins piece of shit who went after Mike Hendrix’s dead wife? That worthless piece of human garbage? He’s still on the internet, and still using his own name? Un-fucking-believable.

  15. Dan Collins says:

    Yes, Dorkafork. The same one.

  16. datadave says:

Dude, Keith is only playing with the typical Right Wing sham of blaming Liberals for everything. We’ve heard the Rush, O’Reilly swill for too long and now it’s pay-back time.

Meanwhile the Republican Monarchists have declared war on the Middle Class….. and Jim Webb’s mad as hell about that. Keith’s on the Good side…so what side are you on? I’m sure you’ll be rooting for the Karlists.

  17. Dan Collins says:

Keith is an ass, dave. The good guys? See, it’s this Manichean worldview that’s at the root of all the problems in this country, and by extension the world.

He’s also a moron, who’s nevertheless very impressed by his intellect. I mean, the Yankees are evil, right?

  18. Alec Leamas says:

“He’s also a moron, who’s nevertheless very impressed by his intellect.”

Those skinny nerd glasses mean he’s smart. Kind of like a diploma from the University of Phoenix that he wears on his face.

Next: John Mc Cain wears a beanie hat with a propeller and overalls with slingshot-in-back-pocket to demonstrate his youth.

  19. B Moe says:

    Jim Webb is a self-serving rabble-rousing thug.

  20. Topsecretk9 says:

    dickhead

I like this soooo much better than douchebag. It just connotes his stunted mental growth so much more to me.

  21. thor says:

Oh yeah, I remember that Adkins meatball. Who could forget that Homer prototype. But what bothers me is, namely, that datadave is half-right in a certain respect. Why would Herr Karl and his flaming Karlists want to aspire to be Adkins-meatballists of a different stripe? Really. What’s the point in equality of teh stupid?

There’s nothing wrong with being critical of someone or certain ideals you disagree with, but to dorkify-up hollow knuckle-dragging rhetoric in academic lingua, to sally forth and gush conceptually racist vomit because “those Left-dingers have it comin’ to ’em!” is so pathetic in its own right.

  22. E Buzz Miller says:

“Dude, Keith is only playing with the typical Right Wing sham of blaming Liberals for everything.”

Yeah, it’s not like George Bush hasn’t been blamed for destroying the world about two thousand times a day by insane drooling lefties every single day since 2000. That hasn’t happened at all.

I guess you sort of missed the whole “controlled demolition” gambit huh?

  23. datadave says:

I really don’t have time to wait around for TV, that’s why I come here, and the NYTimes and a few other sites….You guys give me perspective from the Right Wing and I read my news with that in mind. Also NPR which is my main source while at work with my Peltor FM headphones/earprotectors is much more accurate than TV as it pretty much is related to life as I experience it in the working world: people have shorter life jobs, income inequality is rising massively (hey my current customer is the daughter and son-in-law of the largest benefactress in the state and I can’t afford health insurance) and I just listened to Art Wolfe, Republican economist from UVM give a bullshit story about how rosy things are and everyone’s calling in says differently, like the other contractor saying he doesn’t build houses for ordinary people anymore only for the non-working people with wealth.

But maybe I’m like Jim Webb for instance: “Jim Webb is a self-serving rabble-rousing thug.”…

ok… how’s that? He was on Terri Gross today. Very knowledgeable and literate. He writes well, served big time in Vietnam, was in Reagan’s cabinet and he converted to the Democrats, as he was right on the money about the rising inequality in this country. He added to the op ed piece in the WSJ that I linked above that CEO pay in Japan is only 10 times average wealth of worker while in USA it’s 400+ times and climbing. What is so rotten in America? Our corporations aren’t doing better than Europe’s or Asia’s, in fact are losing to them and getting bought by them…but Boards of Directors are still giving like 10 percent of corporate profits to the one man at the top….that’s just stupid and we Sheep are letting them do it. yayada whatever…..you heard parts of it before… (I am not asking for a commie revolution or anything…but Bush was wrong to cut capital gains taxes to only 15 percent when that’s the main source of income of those said CEOs and investors that are on the Boards….and Jim Webb’s smart enough to see that the Iraq adventure was also wrong as it’s diverting attention from the problems in the USA…like our rapidly declining infastructure..roads and bridges remember???)

Again the reason we’re at this point of “Class Warfare” from above, is that the Media has been dominated by corporate lackeys like Rush and Fox for so long that Comedy Central and Olberman are now getting attention for their newness and freshness….and they’re relating to the reality of a more insecure workplace that most of us are experiencing. With humor. This has been in the making for 40 years or more, the so-calling downsizing of America.. it’s part of the Contract on America. Michael Milkin’s privatizing profits, socializing costs. The bullshit from Rush and O’Reilly is losing interest for most people as it doesn’t relate to our real lives while Olberman is. And he’s funny.

anyway off to do another 12 hour day. (no overtime, but better than nothing…)

“Manichean worldview”*…..that’s called “competition” in the real world. Eat or be eaten, as they say in India.

*not my ‘cup of tea’ but interesting world view….that website I mean… and it seems the stark good and bad divisions are spewed here as much as anywhere….and who’d feel anything but pity for that Adkin’s guys…poor dude getting that picture on the web. And no one commenting on his blog…almost felt a little pity for him but I have more needies like my poor dad in his last days on earth after serving in two wars and finally getting a little economic security and no time left to enjoy it.

pro sports like Yankees vs. Red Sox…that’s like talking about the weather, except the weather is meaningful. But other people like it so I just nod my head and try another faux indi beer from Bud or Coors.

  24. JD says:

So much idiocy, so little time.

  25. JD says:

Jim Webb should stick to writing about jamming cranks in his mouth.

  26. Lisa says:

Cool! He joins Bill O’Reilly, Sean Hannity, and Glenn Beck in the Dickhead Hall of Fame!

    Squee!!

  27. Dan Collins says:

Randi Rhodes, Al Franken, Bill Press . . .

  28. Big Bang Hunter (pumping you up) says:

    – Yeh, and have you noticed how they follow you to work on the freeway dave. Thats troubling. But we’re on it. They think they’re smarter than us and we don’t notice. We notice. We know what they’re up to, and they’re not going to get away with it. I’m with yah buddy. Just say the word, and all of us who’ve been used and abusedm and denied our rightful share of the pie are ready to rise up and take this rotten, mean, unfair country down, We’ll show those stuffed shirt executives in their upscale gas guzzling cars and their $130 haircuts, and huge mansions, while we’re lucky to have a ten year old piece of shit the wheels are falling off of, a $3 whack job at the local VFW abd a flat with one bathroom. Damn capitalists. Fuck ’em.

    – Lets start with Edwards.

  29. Lisa says:

Damn Bill Press is still around? Shit.

I have to say, Hannity’s bullshit questions like his infamous “why do you hate freedom” are annoying, but he is not a prick like Beck and O’Reilly. But there are a host of clowns on each side that cancel each other out: Randi Rhodes/Melanie Morgan; Keith Olbermann/Bill O’Reilly…..etc., etc.

  30. B Moe says:

You make money by doing shit other people want done, dave. It is just that simple. If you aren’t making enough, you aren’t doing enough shit for other people. Why are you so selfish, dave?

  31. Big Bang Hunter (pumping you up) says:

    – Barnum had it right Lisa….”You’ll never go broke underestimating the tastes of the public…”

  32. Dan Collins says:

“Manichean worldview”*…..that’s called “competition” in the real world. Eat or be eaten, as they say in India.

Looks like Glenn Greenwald didn’t get the memo.

  33. JD says:

Other than being on Fox, why in the hell does the Left insist that O’Reilly is on the right?

  34. Lisa says:

He sure as fuck ain’t on the left, my friend. I don’t think he is a Republican, but he is DEFINITELY a conservative – which puts him on the right.

  35. Evil McGehee says:

O’Reilly isn’t on the left side or the right side. He’s on O’Reilly’s side. There’s a Mencken quote about FDR that applies; actually probably several, but I wonder who can guess which one I’m thinking of?

    Wow, heartfelt.

I’m going to beg to differ on european companies and Asian companies doing better than US companies. And wonder if you would like it if someone decided not to lower your taxes because you were good at your job. You vilify the Boad of Directors and CEOs of these companies as if they should be punished for some weird reason.

Do you own stock, work for a public company, have a retirement account, a 529 a health savings account or an IRA? An ESOP plan? A 401k? Do you work for a company that is a wholly owned subsidary of a public company? Do you sell goods or services to a public company? Do you work for a federal agency that oversees the products or regulates the practice of a public company? Do you belong to a Union who has a pension plan?
Do you know that you can buy into that “booming” european market? If you want? You can buy Japanese stocks too. Do you know that if you don’t like the executive pay at a certain company you don’t have to buy stock in it? Do you recieve a performance bonus or commission as part of your compensation plan? Do you expect to get your performance bonus if you meet your goal regardless of how well the company does over all? Most CEO pay is tied to performance, a portion of that is stock price performance, but there could be other things like, for example, meeting specific earnings, reducing headcount, implementing a new hiring strategy, finding a buyer for the company, etc.

The average rate of return on stocks, long-term, is 10%. That’s decent, but figure inflation at say 3% (high, I know but a good average) and tax at 15% on capital gains, how about a 25% tax on capital gains? Why not a 50% tax on capital gains, hell, you don’t work for that money, right? And hey, a massive tax on investment will onlt strengthen our flagging economy, right? I mean, we’ll show those CEO’s who most of us work for that they don’t deserve the money they earn by like, taking it away and if it makes people not buy stock, or destroys our retiremnt savings, makes it harder for companies to raise the money they need for expansion and results in unemployment and no capital spending, well hell you gotta break a few eggs, right?

Just remember, even a Union can’t protect your job when the company you work for goes belly-up.

  37. Evil McGehee says:

even a Union can’t protect your job when the company you work for goes belly-up

    BLASPHEMY!!!

  38. MarkD says:

    datadave,

Try a search on Engram’s blog if you care for a more factual and less emotional comparison of, for example, European vs American economic performance. Or change your pseudonym to one with a little more veracity.

The executive summary: Economically, you’re better off here.

  39. I can understand people not liking what Keith Olbermann said, but it is really necessary to be that damned nasty about it?

I didn’t know it was humanly possible for someone to be that totally unselfaware or lacking in irony.

  40. Chuck Adkins says:

Left in my comment section of my Blog.

Chuckie, Dan Collins, Jeff Goldstein’s mini-me, is calling you a bad person. This is from a guy who stalks his exes on the internet, calls Glenn Greenwald a faggot, uses the word “nigromancy” as a clever allusion to Obama’s charm, and knows people in his grad school hated him because he wore a crucifix! Dear Lord, Adkins, what could you have done to be a worse person that Collins?

Oh, yeah, defend Keith Olbermann’s obvious meaning from his special comment. If there’s one thing the Right hates it honesty.

PS Is it weird that a site dedicated to “intentionalism” is once again parsing an author’s words and telling him he doesn’t mean what he said he said? Or, is that just another reason to hold Collins in contempt?

    It signed “Tim”.

Interesting what you learn, when you own a blog. :)

  41. Spies, Brigands, and Pirates says:

    It signed “Tim”.

    Ah, yes. Good ol’ Tim-MEH.

Maybe you and he can move in together and stop sponging off your respective parental units.
