If Blagojevich manages to stay in office through this Rezko deal, watch for him to appoint himself to Barry Fucking O’s vacant Senate seat after the elections.

  2. jdm says:

Dudes. The picture and title… worth a thousand words.

Quit whatever job you have serr8d. You’ve just been anointed. You’re on a gravy-train with biscuit wheels.

  7. nishizonoshinji says:

    haha!
    dont serr8D.
i just only made senior engineer.
i cant afford a houseboy just yet.

  8. Beg to differ: the greatest album cover in history is Thelonious Monk’s Underground.

  9. bjtexs says:

Al: Gravy train with biscuit wheels? I am so stealing that!

TSI: Linky? I don’t remember the cover of that album.

  10. serr8d says:

Hey, thanks, but Dan Collins is 100% inspiration behind this one. Dan sent the linkages and the verbiage, me, just pushing a few discontent pixel about.

I’ve been a Zappa fan since HS, ’70’s; I blame him for some of my unorthodox world viewery. He makes that ‘special‘ time of year go a little easier… ;D

  11. Dan Collins says:

That was a very technically challenging pshop request, serr, and you did beautifully.

  12. guinsPen says:

What will you do if they let you go home,
and the plastic’s all melted and so is the chrome?

  13. […] this one; he hasn’t posted it yet, if he uses it I’ll link later. This one is on the Big Record Player now…They have to stop with teh praise. I embarrass […]

  14. Slartibartfast says:

Oddly, I first saw that album cover while checking out what had become of Little Feat since Lowell George kicked the bucket, and there was some mention of the guy who did the cover art on Feats’ Sailing Shoes album, who it turns out also did the cover of Weasels Ripped My Flesh

And I started on that whole trek because of one of PW’s Feats Camp threads. Full circle.

bjtexas, here’s the best link I could find. From the ‘notes’ link there, FZ’s answer to Lennon and “Oh No”…

    Oh no
    I don’t believe it

You say love is all we need
    You say
With your love you can change
    All of the fools
    All of the hate
    I think you’re probably
    Out to lunch

Ha! Zappa was divining Obama, then!

  16. bjtexs says:

Actually I was looking for a link to the Thelonius Monk album That TSI referenced but thanks for that. I’ve always loved thast album cover for it’s faux cheesy nightmareness. Great work on the ‘shop.

  17. Obama People,
    Obama people, people.
Lord, they make me sleepy with the things they might say!
    Obama People,
    Obama People, people.
Mother, Mary and Joseph! I wish they’d all go away.

Original tune is ‘Pajama People’ from One Size Fits All. It just writes itself.

  18. Dan Collins says:

I think that was about Bryan Ferry.

  19. Karl says:

    Dan,

You might want to fwd it to Charles Johnson at LGF, who is obvs a Zappa fan.

  20. Dan Collins says:

Yeah, I probably should, Karl. Especially since some leftoid quoted me as calling Charles a douchebag, when I was referring to McCain.

On first glance, I thought that was Fred Armisen. And I’m familiar with his head.

    Ha!

Nishi, I still can’t figure your strange attraction to the Obamaman.

Can’t just be his support of ESCR funding, although Obama will help to dig deeper the moat separating science from ethics. Isn’t some of that troubling in the least bit?

Even if you take religion completely out of seeing the morality of some new research, all scientists at some point have to look in some sort of mirror, no?

  23. serr8d says:

    A case study: Nishi.
