From emptywheel:ÂÂ
When I noted that John McCain’s lobbyist gal had represented the two networks that would, in 2004, show the anti-Kerry propaganda piece, Stolen Honor, I admitted I didn’t know precisely whether or how John McCain had helped the second of these two networks, Sinclair Broadcasting’s shell company, Glencairn Broadcasting. Today, the NYT makes it very clear that McCain used the same kind of inappropriate, pushy tactics for Sinclair as he had with Paxson.   ÂÂ
Because broadcasting the testimony of veterans . . . that’s propaganda.
Any questions?

The overarching theme of the Times is that they are a newspaper that lies about its subjects, then lies about its own coverage, and then blames their victim for getting caught.
Countdown: Did The NY Times Give The Right Wing Noise Machine The Excuse They Needed To Back McCain?
No, you dumbasses, it gave us the opportunity to kick the bejeezus out of the NYT for being the mendoucheous pile of festering craptacle that it is.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but wasn’t McCain staunchly defending Kerry’s service record and condemning the Swiftboat attacks? You know, around the time Kerry’s camp was feeling him out for the VP slot?
Yes, Pablo. Empty is a bit thick.

Dan, concerning the “mendoucheous pile of festering craptacle”, I’m not sure if “mendoucheous” is gender specific, and if so then is “moidoucheous” the all encompassing gender neutral derivative?
Good question, thor . . . but I’ve never taken French.
Mendoucheous is one of my new favorites, narrowly passing self-lefteous.
Is there a name for word-into-syllable insertionips? It’s spunktageous. I’ll foreskinever be hookered on coitalating new odd-pounding wordtwats. Cockdamnit, Dan, I cunt stop.
I love the loons at crooks. Most of us are laughing our *sses off at McCain and the rest of the RINOs for being naive enough to think they wouldn’t be backstabbed by their “friends” in the MSM as soon as it was convenient.
“Is there a name for word-into-syllable insertionips?”
Yep: The word is “tmesis.” It’s a rhetorical device, like metaphor and anaphora.
