Oh, Here’s the Outrage [Dan Collins]

Topsecretk9, in Karl’s earlier post about the MoveOn endorsement of Barack Obama, alerts us to Larry Johnson’s consequent meltdown:

So much for principle. When the Republican led effort to condemn MoveOn.org for its ad calling General Petraeus on the carpet for being a political hack and betraying the troops, who stood with MoveOn’s right to have a voice? Hillary Clinton. Barack “the Coward” Obama voted PRESENT. Why? He didn’t want to have to stand for something that might be unpopular in a national election.

So who does MoveOn endorse for President? Barack of course. MoveOn has now demonstrated they are not to be taken seriously. They fuck the people who stand up for them and reward the ones who refuse to stand. That is courage in their eyes? Assholes!!

    Slooooooooooooooowly I turned.

    Step by step.

    Inch by inch.

  2. happyfeet says:

Barack is not the braverest little monkey on the hill that’s for sure. Mostly he sits in his hopey tree and throws coconuts while the media does all the fighting really. Also he’s sort of a drama queen I think.

  3. MayBee says:

I’d vote for Obama just because clowns like Larry Johnson and Joe Wilson are so against him. It makes me think they have something up their sleeves with Hillary.

  4. guinsPen says:

I’d vote for Obama if he changed his name to Al.

  5. John McClain says:

They fuck the people who stand up for them and reward the ones who refuse to stand. That is courage in their eyes? Assholes!!

    Welcome to the party, pal!

NPR is doing a story today on Obama’s si se puede but is it a race issue or is it tied to larger crosscultural themes? I don’t know but it made me cry thinking about it and then I just had to smile cause it was so beautiful and I felt uplifted. I also learned that Hillary loves brown people too and the brown people love her and also they love Obama and the si se puede is not something you say it is in all of our hearts even women of the white race.

I’m Larry “Islamic terrorists are sooverrated in July 2001″ Johnson, and I approved this tantrum.

  8. daleyrocks says:

If there was a definition of fuckstick in the dictionary, Larry’s picture would be next to it. Barack may have voted present to preserve some lefty face instead of condemning Moron.org for slandering the troops. Hillary had no shame and just pandered to them. It was not a free speech issue as Larry suggests. There was no censorship involved.

  9. daleyrocks says:

Hey John – Yipee yi yo motherfucker.

  10. nishizonoshinji says:

an it was a vote, dan.
moveon is grassroots if nuthin else.
the tribe voted for moveon to endorse, it wasnt a management decision.

u (and that uberblog drama queen (malkin) and that emaciated adamsappled skank (coulter)) need to think veryvery carefully before u support bilary over obama. if bilary gets the whitehouse they will be glued in there for 8 years like a barnacle. everything they do will wholly focused on keepin power and historical record.
if Obama screws up the repubs can retake the wh in 4 years.

  11. datadave says:

I hope for a world where facts, not fiction, determine our policy. While terrorism is not vanquished, in a world where thousands of nuclear warheads are still aimed across the continents, terrorism is not the biggest security challenge confronting the United States, and it should not be portrayed that way.

he is still right. Al Q. are still pipsqueaks compared to what’s coming down the pike (if we don’t watch out).

our NeoNazi friends just like to fire up the terrorism so they can dabble in a li’l torture.

Karl, the Raveonette videos are awesome.

I think Obama was okay about the MoveOn policies but thought their Petreous/Betrayus ad was just too sophomoric for his tastes. He seems a little delicate and quite witty in his humor and not appreciative of crudity even against an enemy. Or perhaps as it was an expensive bad joke. So in his favor, it’s a Plus, not a Negative.

  12. McGehee says:

    Um, that was “yippee-ki-yay,” daleyrocks.

    Trust me on this.

  13. happyfeet says:

Bingo on Malkin. She’ll never star in one of those General Foods International Coffee commercials cause she’s wound way too tight I think and even when she celebrates the moments of our lives it’s usually done better somewhere else cause she just doesn’t do certain strains of pathos very well at all cause she has a very limited repertoire. Coulter at least would make a lot of money on Bilary so I can understand that one better,

  14. McGehee says:

if bilary gets the whitehouse they will be glued in there for 8 years like a barnacle. everything they do will wholly focused on keepin power and historical record.

Somebody’s got a case of HDS.

  15. happyfeet says:

Oh. I was done. My stupid keyboard has the comma thing right next to the period thing is all.

  16. nishizonoshinji says:

lulz i speak truth an u kno it.
bil an hil are non-seperable as we say in mathspeak…so it is just more BDS haha.
Dr. Krauthamer nailed it today….bil had a meltdown when obama said reagan’s presidency changed the world an clintons presidency was a cypher.
they have planned this with determination an ferocity an dont u doubt it.

  17. daleyrocks says:

McGhee – He’s a yo-yo anyway. He doesn’t deserve the right Willis address. I knew I screwed it up after I posted it.

Scary Larry also seems to conveniently not remember that Shrillary and Barack BOTH voted for a democratic statement that condemned an unwarranted personal attack on Petraeus but did nor mention Moron.org by name. Selective memory type fucker isn’t he?

  18. daleyrocks says:

Has Obama said anything beyond a sentence or two of thanks for the endorsement yet?

Anything along the lines of if you batshit crazy loons think you are going to be able to dictate my platform because of this endorsement you can take a fucking hike. Give it to Hillary.

  19. nishizonoshinji says:

yah happyfeet malkins sux at pathos…her signature expression is widemouth screechin like on billo when she an KP hav a throw down.
i especially like the little spittle bubbles around her big mouth when she really gets goin.
she can do popeyed, angry, and really angry is all.
must be that inscrutable asian thing.

  20. Slartibartfast says:

I’d vote for Obama if he changed his name to Al.

A perfectly good mouthful of beer squirted out of my nose, thanks.

And no, I’m NOT going to suck it back up out of the keyboard.

In other news, it looks as if Greenwald’s no longer got the world overwrought market cornered. Larry does use “naked” and “brazen” a great deal less frequently, though.

  21. Slartibartfast says:

As for the MoveOn endorsement, Larry should be gleeful, not berzerk. Kiss of death, you know. What rational person is going to vote for Obama now, with MoveOn’s lipstick still fresh on his ass?

  22. nishizonoshinji says:

    slart:
“What rational person is going to vote for Obama now,”
try the 1.7 million dems that voted for moveon to endorse.
    for a start.

  23. happyfeet says:

I wish MoveOn would endorse a Republican candidate too.

  24. PCachu says:

He did say “rational”, nishi. That’s automatic disqualification for UnableToMoveOn participants right there.

  25. daleyrocks says:

happy – They’d like to endorse McCain, but they have a problem with one of his policies – Iraq. Even though he and Hillary both voted in favor of it, she has waffled and “claims” she’ll pull us out. McCain will keep us in. Otherwise, the endorsement voting for Moron.org members might have been a three way race.

  26. happyfeet says:

It’s just sad cause he’s worked so hard for them daley.

  27. Topsecretk9 says:

    Maybee

I’d vote for Obama just because clowns like Larry Johnson and Joe Wilson are so against him. It makes me think they have something up their sleeves with Hillary.

It’s going to get better. Watch their heads spin off when Gore endorses Obama!

    1. Gore is the father of tacky, classless endorsements – snubbing his VP running mate and endorsing Dean without even the courtesy of a phone call. Leiberman was blindsided and learned in the press.

    2. Larry’s co-blogger SusanPC or whatever did a post on how tacky and classless Joe LIEberman’s endorsement of McCain was – she was unfazed by Gore’s low class template.

  28. daleyrocks says:

Has anyone informed Gore that he may not be able to eat in restaurants in Mississippi in the near future?

  29. MayBee says:

    Nishi-

try the 1.7 million dems that voted for moveon to endorse.
    for a start.

Here are the endorsement vote counts:

    Obama: 197,444 70.4%
    Clinton: 83,084 29.6%

As you can see, 280,528 people voted to endorse. There are supposedly 1.7 million MoveOn members in Super Tuesday states. What the bar for membership is, I’m not certain.

  30. daleyrocks says:

Lying liars about membership perhaps? If you click on their website or request to get e-mail are you a member?

  31. Spies, Brigands, and Pirates says:

There are supposedly 1.7 million MoveOn members in Super Tuesday states. What the bar for membership is, I’m not certain.

Even if true (highly unlikely), that’s about 0.6% of the population. That’s not a movement, that’s a margin of error (albeit an extremely screechy, uber-histrionic one).

Something tells me, though, that nishi is as innumerate as he is illiterate.

  32. MayBee says:

Spies, Brigs, Pi: I think nishi is a math whiz girl, actually.

  33. Topsecretk9 says:

    Lying liars about membership perhaps?

But of course. I think those members are Al Franken’s too. And Franken is on the fatish side. He should be banned from restaurants.

  34. J. Peden says:

They fuck the people who stand up for them….

Were they surprised by what they found?

  35. B Moe says:

…an it was a vote, dan.
moveon is grassroots if nuthin else.
the tribe voted for moveon to endorse, it wasnt a management decision…”

So do you let the grassroots select what movies you will see, nishi? Or what books you will read? Or music to listen to?

  36. I take it nobody is going to suggest they endorsed the person they thought would make the best president, and congradulate them.

  37. MayBee says:

    congradulate them.

Congratulations, MoveOn! You had a successful online poll! Everyone who voted should receive a “Participant” ribbon, and the person with the most participants (we won’t say winner) got a REALLY cool press RELEASE. Kudos MoveOn members and organization! You are special, just like everyone!!

  38. J. Peden says:

I take it nobody is going to suggest they endorsed the person they thought would make the best president, and congradulate them.

Yeah, just like at Head Start!

  39. B Moe says:

“I take it nobody is going to suggest they endorsed the person they thought would make the best president, and congradulate them.”

If by they you mean everyone who responded to the poll and by who will make the best president you mean the one who is most popular, then yeah, I suppose congratulations are in order.

  40. Slartibartfast says:

    That’s not a movement, that’s a margin of error

    Marge Inovera?

  41. nishizonoshinji says:

“that’s about 0.6% of the population.”
but it is about 9% of the supertuesday voting pop. an perhaps 15 to 20 of the democratic votin pop on ST.
    yawn…i dont really care.
it is mad funnie to see the rightosphere bashin mccain an flailin around tryin to psyc urselfs into supportin romney.

  42. nishizonoshinji says:

u kno….all this trauma-drama about mccain is gonna let bilary stake out the wh for another 8 years.
romney is not electable for the same reason that a scientologist is not electable.
their whacktheories are not harmless…their core beliefs interfere with the CinC bein a rational actor.
im for freedom of religion an all that, but some religions are fiercely counter-rational.

i voted for dubya…but i wouldnt have if i had known his core beliefs would interfere with his ability to govern.
im sry, a fertilized embryo is not a “human life”.
and that is an example of religious belief interferin with ability to govern.

choosin the lesser of two evils can be a valid choice.
    consider:
    1. bill clinton gave the Kim Jong Il 2 nuclear reactors in 1994 which were immediately converted to weaponized uranium production.
    2. sandi berger is advising bilary’s campaign right now an will be the natl sec advisor in a bilary two term white house. payola.
    3. bill gutted the HUMINT programs and made us blind an deaf in MENA right b4 911. he cud do that cuz fundin field operatives in karachi netted him no votes….the black budget is invisible to most every one.
    4. clinton whimped on every international test ceptin kosovo. Cobar, Rwanda, Mogadishu, NK, u name it he bailed an quailed.

the thing about bilary is that in any choice between their own interests and the interests of OUR COUNTRY…their own interests will triumph.

and that skank coulter and unibrow tammy bruce and frogmouthed malkin shud be considerin that b4 throwin in with bilary.
the clintons are worst choice for national defense.
    quite simply.
so i guess my vote is anyone but bilary.

  43. nishizonoshinji says:

happyfeet i seriously think coulter is a crackwhore…….she has that look.

  44. happyfeet says:

yes but also the narrower McCain’s claim to the nomination the more he will need to pay obeisance or whatever to notMcCain things. Can we just hold off on the lesser of two evils lionization until Wednesday please? That is what I think anyway. Also he’s a magnificent dildo. They broke him in that prison I think and now he’s inherently and unhealably pompous and mean. You beat a dog for six years and then see if he plays well with others. Bad dog.

  45. happyfeet says:

That’s possible about the Coulter. I kind of only pretend to know much about her cause she’s been filtered out of my experience of this world for so long. Kind of like Ellen Barkin.

  46. happyfeet says:

She said faggot once and Cap’n Ed was fit to be tied. He wrote a letter.

  47. nishizonoshinji says:

yah capn ed……that greifing whanker…..lissen i been gone for a while.
anything ever come out of ed’s conspiracy theories about the homeschool arabic translations from saddams “lost” files and the bekkah valley in syria?

  48. Rusty says:

#43 Not really. Even so, not my type.Wat too skinny. Malkin on the other hand. I’d hit that.

  49. nishizonoshinji says:

    ud be sry i betchu.
as much as malkin runs her mouth i bet shez one of those yappy chicks that likes to…talk afterwards.

  50. McGehee says:

    Better afterwards, than incessantly during.

  51. Cave Bear says:

    “Better afterwards, than incessantly during.”

    Depends on what she’s saying…:)

As for “nishizonoshinji”, somebody said it’s some kind of female math whiz; having known a few in my time, I can believe it. They can do Fourier transforms in their heads, but don’t have sense enough to pour piss out of a boot, and with as poor communications skills as well, as he/she/it has demonstrated.

But what really makes me laugh is how so many people get their knickers in such a knot over people like Coulter, Malkin, etc. They are expert at making the progs squeal like stuck pigs, and the proggie’s responses are always so predictable, not to mention vacuous. This one looks like a crack whore, that one is a “widemouth screecher”, blah…blah…blah.

    Meh…

  52. happyfeet says:

It’s a big tent Mr. Bear.

  53. datadave says:

    http://www.hillaryclinton.com/feature/healthcareplan/americanhealthchoicesplan.pdf

hillary care. I might like it if she’s for real about the govt. run insurance …but I think giving health insurance deductions through tax rebates is a way to subsidize the health insurance industry.

Yikes! Ann Coulter is Nuts: “Coulter Would Campaign for Clinton Over McCain”

  54. happyfeet says:

Also nishi if McCain were to pick Huckabee as his running mate, then I think mostly I would just go to my safe place and not come out until it was over.

  55. Pablo says:

as much as malkin runs her mouth i bet shez one of those yappy chicks that likes to…talk afterwards.

Are you saying that you’re the “roll over and go to sleep type”, nishi? Cuz we might need to talk. Or not.

  56. McGehee says:

I might like it if she’s for real about the govt. run insurance

    Surprise, surprise.

but I think giving health insurance deductions through tax rebates is a way to subsidize the health insurance industry.

So you’re saying that, absent a U.S. version of Britain’s National <strike> Horror </strike> Health Service, you’d like an expanded program of, say, medical savings accounts, which take the insurance industry out of the loop?

  57. happyfeet says:

that’s weird cause that code looks right

  58. nishizonoshinji says:

ekshually…now that i think about it…..malkin looks like kinda like a pomeranian…u kno?
that little scrunched up flat face, yapyapyapyap.
chacun a son gout i guess.

yup pablo….i love that cuddled up sleepy tangled spooning afterward….dont want chatter.

  59. happyfeet says:

I feel like I’m sharing in something really special.

  60. nishizonoshinji says:

    lolz u are!

  61. datadave says:

Medical savings accounts are already here and ain’t going away. They’re just a bandaid and don’t help people who actually need to pay for real emergency care. Half an hour in an emergency room for just a broken bone will wipe out all the savings in that year’s account. And notice they’ve not done a damn thing to reduce health insurance premiums which have gone up 4 times at fast as people’s wages in the last 4 years.

Obama is more moderate in his scope but seems more focused on the problem of those of us in the small business sector (which btw gives 80 percent of the job growth in America): http://www.barackobama.com/issues/healthcare/

I’ll take british care over America care anytime as it’s cheaper and just as healthy from all the statistics given. The US is at or near the bottom of the list in affordability and health for all industrial nations.

Susan Pc mean Peace Corps? Larry and Susan. Joe and Val. Plame and Ames. Ames and Howard.

Terrorists? Go to Canada. You can hear voices, see things and get diseases. Why do you think Canada exports all the garbage to the US?

  66. Rusty says:

Fer crissake, have you ever spoken to a Brit about their health care system?!

  70. Basilisk says:

Fer crissake, have you ever spoken to a Brit about their health care system?!

Heh…clearly not. I used to live in Glasgow, Scotland, and boy-o, have I got stories. Never in a million years would I advocate the system I used to live under for the one I live under now. I think it’s a wee bit of ‘the grass is greener’ syndrome going on.

  71. geoffb says:

You might want to read this blog a bit.

  72. Half an hour in an emergency room for just a broken bone will wipe out all the savings in that year’s account.

and you’re still f’in clueless about how MSA’s work. YOU STILL HAVE INSURANCE!!!! it’s just that it doesn’t cost as much because it’s for emergencies, ie: higher deductible.

  73. Rusty says:

I’ll take british care over America care anytime as it’s cheaper and just as healthy from all the statistics given. The US is at or near the bottom of the list in affordability and health for all industrial nations.
