Well said Carin and also they are taking cruel advantage of Iowans cause bless their hearts they have to try really really hard to understand the outside world even when no one is trying to hornswoggle them so the last few days have been very disorienting and the cow stopped giving milk so now they’re all on edge and twitchy and it’s gonna be all they can do to get ready for 4H much less go back to the polls next November and it’s gonna be so sad to watch them get their ballots and try to figure out where did teh Huckabee go.
Carin- what do you think is going to happen in Michigan? Do you think Dems will cross over and vote R, considering they only get to choose between Clinton and Kuchinich? If they do, do they vote for someone they’d really like, like Rudy or McCain, or do they try to cause trouble?

Hillary isn’t liked much here in Michigan – at least not by the union Dem types I know. Granholm will do what she can, since (I’m sure) she anticipates getting a job will Billary one day. Michigan had a good chance of going Obama, which is what makes the whole dealo stink to high heaven. I linked an article from Ann Arbor the other day, where almost all the HS students were for Obama; which probably reflects their (liberal) parent’s views.
I would’ve thought Bill would anticipate getting some kind of “job” from Granholm.
But the Dems aren’t giving Michigan any delegates, right? I thought Obama wasn’t even going to be on the MI ballot.

The Huck seems like such a nice man … I heard him speak and he seemed so honest … bla bla bla. Not to disparage (fucking) Iowans, but I don’t really know what else accounts for it. For a person to claim to be a conservative, and then vote for Huck just signifies that you aren’t politically sophisticated.
I would have more respect if people who said Huck was their man acknowledged that he’s only sorta conservative.
No, Obama won’t be there. But, I think Michigan prolly would have gone for him. Detroit … Flint … Union Democrats (non -teachers) …

As tightly wound as Rollins is, I don’t think he and Hucklebuckle will get out of New Hampshire without some sort of Jimmy Swaggart moment.
With the primary not really counting for Dems in Michigan, they’d have to be really motivated to go and vote for Huck. So, while there will be some, I don’t know what the impact may be.
I would say that Republicans in Michigan are pretty fired up. The economy is the suxxor and Granholm is the target of their ire.
Maybe people will vote for Clinton just to be rid of Granholm.

I like Fred. I suspect that you’d describe any southerner as a “good lo’ boy,” and you appear to have no particular comprehension of what that phrase denotes to those of us who you’d dopubtless characterize that way. As for “six-shootin'”, in my mind that’s an enhancing qualification.
