In case you missed the pylon:
Comment by Jim Henley â€â€December 8, 2007 @ 5:40 pm  ÂÂ
Note to all: I made a major error in attributing the mosquito quote to Steyn. It was sloppy of me, and I’ve posted a correction. The specific quote wasn’t central to my argument [that Steyn is a douchebag], but it was still a mistake, and I apologize for it.  ÂÂ
WWFFD?
Illustrated (warning, video)
FF would insist that, quotation marks aside, Steyn said what he was reported to have said and therefore, the piece is exceptionally troofy. Just because Mullah Krekar said it first doesn’t mean Steyn didn’t say it. See? It’s right there in his book.
Our internationalist Michelle is making quite an ass of herself in the comments there too, though she seems to have laid off the sauce. She’s actually coherent, even if still utterly confused. Maybe she’s switched to blow.
He should have replaced “mosquitos” with “butterflies.”
Yeah, Muslims are like butterflies.
Another fine example of the “Fake But Accurate” brigade in action.
Probably didn’t expect anyone who actually has a clue to catch him on his “error” and whack him with it. Dumbass.
He’s either dumb, thinks his audience is dumb, or is malicious. Then again, he could have made the “error” because he was so eager to rip that racist douchebag Steyn a new one that he actually forgot to make sure he was right about his hypothesis. Oops.
What a dumbass.
Having a hard time wrapping my head around that one since the quote was the only evidence presented in support of his argument.
At least he’s got an appropriately named blog – Unqualified Offerings. Heh.
The specific quote wasn’t central to my argument
Actually, Henley, the “specific quote” was your argument. Without the “specific quote” (or the douche, as it were) you’re the one left holding the bag.
Which makes you, ipso facto, an empty douchebag.
Henley needs to just shut up and sing. Who’s up for a round of “Dirty Laundry?”
Or is he the Muppet guy?
You have to admit, Henley has more traffic than ever.
Running about 98% “you’re such a dumbass,” but “no bad publicity” and all that.
I checked out the “Michelle” posts and responses – she’s got a brain like a Rubik’s Cube.
Yeah, but all the squares are sort of a muddy brown.
Genuine rubic zirconium.
What is really funny, and lost in most the comments, is his argument was complete bullshit even if the quote was Steyn’s. What the hell does any of it have to do with racism?
Read farther; it becomes clear the coherence is an illusion.
It’s not a complete loss: Mona’s a libertarian.

You know, for “libertarians”, those OU folks sure seem fond of marching in Stalinist parades and advocating other positions that are indistinguishable from those which are diagnostic of the common leftoid moonbat.
Maybe it’s like the way that pacifist dude in Kung Fu used to get into several fights per week?
Just sayin’.
From the Macleans.ca link, Steyn…
Forget racism…now, it’s Transhumanism!
(Oh, if there’s anyone who can’t stand video, here’s a nice .GIF that illustrates Dan’s illustration in far fewer bytes…)
Serr8d, that animated GIF is hair-raising. I don’t suppose you have any info on whether the pedestrian lived through it?
Henley. Pedestrian.
Well, there’s a certain connection, there.
Kevin, he did live through it, in fact without major injury. The explanation that was given was that the car struck him where it had already been dented in by the accident and rolled over the top of him. I’m not sure that makes sense to me, but there you have it.
The online ass-raping continues at his site.
Some of his more intellectually challenged toadies are dropping their pants and taking one for the team, too.
NTTAWWT.
Solidarity, baby!
I’ve heard that the ped did live through that accident…when I posted the thing, it was picked up by Theo Spark (who gets a…few more hits than I do) and conversation there was in the same vein as CraigC’s comment.
Henley? He’ll live through this too, but he won’t be feeling all that well, either. ;D
