Moonbat Central [Dan Collins]

David Thompson directs us to a new site dedicated to collocating all the genres of moonbattery in one centralized location.  It thus becomes a daily must-read for those who enjoy their looniness piping hot.  Darleen has some thoughts on this, as well.

Very decent of him: Chad Releases Spaniards, Belgian

News you can use: Fundamentals of Zombology (h/t Reynolds, who calls them prehistoric, though the article shows zombie-representing hierogyphics, neener-neener)

Jeeze. You could’ve at least linked a proper warning message…

Psychological pain syndromes are actually defense mechanisms designed to cover up painful emotional / psychological issues. The subconscious mind feels that these issues are so threatening to the well being of the individual, that it will do anything to prevent the issues from becoming conscious. This process is called repression. When repression is not enough to guarantee that the painful issues will remain hidden, the subconscious will create a psychological pain syndrome to preoccupy the conscious thoughts of the individual. This constant thought about the pain is a very effective means of making sure that hidden emotional issues remain well hidden.

…or directions to those red purple pills??

“I’m a little bit tired of spending so much of my time defending the most basic principles of what I stand for. It serves to distract. What I need is a safer space where I don’t lose so much energy justifying why social and environmental justice are worth spending a lot of society’s money on. What I want is a space where these ideas are a given and the debate is about how best to actualize them…”

I don’t think that even the Ric Locke could produce a better description of totalitarianism than the above screed. How many oppressive regimes have put forth “the good of the people” and self evident priciples that always seem to end up justifying an end to individual liberties so that the the dictator and his cronies becomes rich and powerfull and everyone else makes do with whatever is left?

It truly scares me to my core that there are Americans out there who can’t see the totalitarian forest for the touchy/feely trees.

I went directly to the [il]liberal site

That’s not parody??? Someone is actually against equality of opportunity?

    absofuckingunbelievable.

  4. JD says:

BJ – They cannot see that they embody all that they claim to see in their ideological opponents.

  5. BJTexs says:

Well, JD, it’s because the purity of their intentions is not up for debate. They are the carers and the feelers who will make all of mankind a better place by the sainted and holy socialist construct. everyone will, ultimately, be happier when the smarter, more compassionate masters mandate what you can say, what you can earn and how you can live.

BUT THEY’LL BE PLENTY OF SEX, ABORTION AND REEFER, MAN!

If a few individual liberties, quality of lives and freedom of expression are sacrificed? Feh! It’s a small price to pay for multicultural, income redistributed, gender neutral, sighing jolly UTOPIA!

These people need to be kept from power at almost any cost.

  6. JD says:

BJ – I have a friend (I swear I do!) who is one of the more senior members over at myleftwing, an absolute sanctuary for the Leftist types that are emotional eggshells. He invited me to come visit over there, participate in discussions, etc … He was almost excommunicated by his own people for even associating with such a vile creature as myself. I swear, I did not even call them one name. I was beyond my best behavior. It was repulsive how nice I was.

They said my being there made them feel as though their “safe place” had been invaded, and that it was their sanctuary where the ideals were not up for debate, that everyone accepted them as being good and just. It was an eye opening experience.

Don’t be afraid to say what you think, BJ.

  8. BJTexs says:

Yea, that was provocative but it reflects my concern about these people. Their ideals trump everything, including the financing of the infrastructure to make the “ideals” a reality. They live in the critical thinking equivalant of a unicorn cocoon where almost anything is OK to accomplish Zanadu on earth and screw the details.

They are very, very serious about being unserious. Thus they should not be allowed to control anything. Unfortunately, like creeping termites, they continue to infiltrate our power structure.

  9. JD says:

Our tax structure has a whole hell of a lot to do with that mindset, BJ. As is, there is a full majority of citizens that do not pay income taxes. There is no consequence for acquiesence to the newest and greatest social program, pork project, etc … because those evil rich people will be paying for it.

  10. McGehee says:

    Yea, that was provocative

Well, you did say almost any cost. So we know there is a limit you wouldn’t cross.

I’m thinking, for example, you wouldn’t advocate going back in time and canceling the Big Bang.

  11. JD says:

BJ – I would be more curious to know that the few things are that you would not do to keep these people out of office. Would you do Rosie? Michael Moore? Pelosi? Sheehan? Since you are a sheep-sniffing haggis-humper, I suspect that a menage a quatro with them is more to your liking.

  12. BJTexs says:

I think I’m going to be sick.

  13. JD says:

So, is it safe to assume that giving Mama Sheehan and Michael Moore a Dual Dirty Sanchez would be on the list of things that you would NOT do?

Come on. Take one for the team.

  14. McGehee says:

Going back in time and canceling the Big Bang doesn’t sound so over-the-top now, does it?

  15. BJTexs says:

[groan] Where do I sign up? To cancel the Big Bang I mean. You know, not that … that … oh mercy ………. both of them ….

    BUICK!
