Racialist politics.  It’s tedious.  It’s predictable.  It’s ugly. And what makes it so ugly is that it diminishes the depravity of real racism by diluting it with phony indictments and trivializing it with ridiculous and insupportable claims aimed at non-racists.  To wit: A debate Tuesday over a bill to ban abortions after a fetal heartbeat is detected turned to race after Rep.
