The deadline approaches

Heed the call!

Racist obscenity

Accusations of racism, wherein racism is defined as “failing to vote for a half-white President you may have voted for last time, but whom this time you reject, because the mainstream press forgot to tell you he was a divisive, race-baiting socialist,” are themselves abominations — or Obaminations, if you prefer — and are being pressed by the same legacy media outlets who are responsible for selling us a faulty

“Government CBS Sources: Key Counterterrorism Task Force Not Convened During Benghazi Attack”

So previous reports suggesting Obama got assets prepared for a rescue and counterstrike then made a gutsy call deciding against using them is now being downgraded to Obama didn’t really have any idea what to do or who to call to affect an effective response. Is that about right? Guess missing all those intel meetings probably wasn’t such a good idea in retrospect, eh President Fairway?

Obama: “Voting is the best revenge” (with video)

Revenge.  Against those who presume to run against him, against those who want to keep more of what they’ve earned rather than hand it over to you, revenge against those who believe in a stable rule of law and checks and balances, not in an imperial President who relies on some Alinsky seminars and a few years doing community organizing to convince himself he is uniquely positioned to know everything,

“Reid says he can’t work with Romney”

Wasthington Times: Five days before the election, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has ruled out trying to work with Mitt Romney should he win next week. “Mitt Romney’s fantasy that Senate Democrats will work with him to pass his ‘severely conservative’ agenda is laughable,” Mr. Reid said in a statement on Friday, trying to puncture Mr. Romney’s closing election argument that he’ll be able to deliver on the bipartisanship President

“Pentagon: Secret U.S. military commandos deployed to Libya”

If you thought Obama wasn’t going to give the orders to kill somebody — anybody, really, so long as they can be tied to the Benghazi attack in some plausible way — before the election, you haven’t been paying attention to this guy’s playbook.  This, again, is another of those crass moments where I have to say that I told you so.  This man is a political animal through and

“Eco-Taxes? Study Financed by U.S. Treasury Will Link Tax Code to Carbon Emissions”

Who needs a Congress when you have bureaucracies, professors, and “settled science” that carry the weight of legislators without the inconvenience of having to run for office and answer to an electorate? Coming soon:  a green tax code for American businesses and individual taxpayers alike? A major tax study currently being sponsored by the U.S. Treasury will give environmental activists a powerful new weapon in their campaign to alter the

It’s who they are. It’s what they do.

But it’s the useful idiots on the ground who drive the indoctrination train: In a speech to a packed room of Obama for America phone bank volunteers at the Democratic National Committee headquarters Thursday night in Washington, D.C., Special Assistant to the President Kareem Dale said that people with disabilities are going to be “absolutely killed” under the proposed policies of Mitt Romney and delivered a strong message to the crowd: “let’s win

Correction to my previous post: unemployment rate actually DID drop

… among government workers.   Where it’s down to 4.2%. Which makes sense:  we need more people hired to mind those who increasingly can’t find jobs in a declining private sector, that sector of the economy shrinking because of the growth of government intrusion aided by an ever-growing government sector bureaucracy.  A Catch-22, only intentionally so.  Fundamental transformation takes planning. Self-sufficiency is a mirage.  The Government is your Daddy.  And Daddy

“Here we go again! Economists: Employment gains are ‘implausibly high’”

Well, saying I told you so in crass.  But quoting myself saying I told you so?  Perfectly acceptable and in the best of taste.  Because I told you so — a year ago, a few months ago, and yesterday, even amid speculation that the unemployment numbers simply couldn’t be massaged enough to stay below 8%: My prediction:  there’s no way in hell Labor lets that number go up over 7.9%.
