so much as the way he says it! Conservatives suck at satire and are rarely funny on purpose, but I think Conservapedia struck comedy gold. Using sources such as Charles Krauthammer, Brent Bozell and World Net Daily, they couldn’t help but create a belly-laugher of a website and plenty of red meat for the frothing fringe that now dominates the Republican base. It’s going to be a long year… ROFLMAO!

Dems 2008: Revisiting Obama’s faith-based appeals [Karl]
In order to better understand the controversy over Barack Obama’s relationship with the Rev. Jeremiah Wright and the Trinity United Church of Christ — as well as its inevitability — it might be useful to take a brief stroll down Memory Lane. In June 2007, Obama was the first of the Democratic presidential contenders to launch a religious outreach website. At the time, Joshua DuBois, Obama’s Director of Religious Affairs, told the
Thanks…
To all the guest bloggers who’ve been instrumental in keeping this site alive. You’ve all come a really long way (in my decidedly not humble opinion), and I’m proud to have you representing a site that carries my name. — Or, at least I would be, were my name, you know, protein wisdom. Still, you get the idea. Thanks also to Dan for sending me the complete novels of Flann
Moral Equivalence Theatre Presents [Dan Collins]
O’Reilly attends Church headed by ex-Nazi, Ratzinger!!! In 1937 Ratzinger’s father retired and the family moved to Traunstein, a staunchly Catholic town in Bavaria close to the Führer’s mountain retreat in Berchtesgaden. He joined the Hitler Youth aged 14, shortly after membership was made compulsory in 1941. Typology: This Isn’t a Crackpipe Church, Cracker [Dan Collins]

You Don’t Say? [Dan Collins]
In a column in which he opines that the Rev. Wright scandal has legs [insert ZZ Top reference here], Bob “Chupacabra” Novak passes along the view of a long-time associate (of the Clintons, I believe) who states that they “will do anything–anything–to get nominated.” Shocking, I know.
Al-Qaeda School Dropouts [Karl]
I usually prefer to post on topics where I can add value, but I found so few blogs covering former 9/11 Commission counsel Michael Jacobson’s Washington Post op-ed on al-Qaeda dropouts that simply giving it wider exposure adds value: It’s become a truism of counterterrorism that we must understand how and why individuals become jihadists in the first place. But almost nobody is studying the flip side of radicalization — understanding
Dems 2008: “This is not a crackpot church.” [Karl]
So sayeth Barack Obama in an interview with Michael Smerconish set to air today regarding the Obama-Wright-Trinity controversy. He also says, “This is a pillar of the community and if you go there on Easter on this Easter Sunday and you sat down there in the pew you would think this is just like any other church.” As it turns out, if you went there on this Easter Sunday, you
