Vlad the Regaler Outed [Dan Collins]
Unfortunately Vlad the Regaler will be off the air tonight, in order to deal with the allegations regarding him that have been published by Wonkette.

Dan & BBh: Is it just me or is this beginning to approach the realm of the surreal?
Let me see if I have this strategay.. er.. strategy pegged.
The party that has long pushed to associate themselves with gay rights has decided that the best way to cement their base is to out politicians and/or their relatives as either being gay or acting gay. In some way, they see this as an impearative to promote the concept that the ‘Thugs, who hate gays, have gay people in their families. The gay population as a whole will embrace this policy and the base will be energised by the clever outings because all gays will be lifted high by the nobility of this enterprise.

I think it’s the latter. But, y’know, BJTexs, that Andy Sully certainly caused the usually level-headed David Brooks to contradict himself.
