"NPR executives caught on tape bashing conservatives and Tea Party, touting liberals"

— Which is all very shocking, given how neutral and taxpayer funded NPR is. When it’s not being too damn conservative, I mean. No, really.

In a new video released Tuesday morning by conservative filmmaker James O’Keefe, Schiller and Betsy Liley, NPR’s director of institutional giving, are seen meeting with two men who, unbeknownst to the NPR executives, are posing as members of a Muslim Brotherhood front group. The men, who identified themselves as Ibrahim Kasaam and Amir Malik from the fictitious Muslim Education Action Center (MEAC) Trust, met with Schiller and Liley at Café Milano, a well-known Georgetown restaurant, and explained their desire to give up to $5 million to NPR because, “the Zionist coverage is quite substantial elsewhere.”

On the tapes, Schiller wastes little time before attacking conservatives. The Republican Party, Schiller says, has been “hijacked by this group.” The man posing as Malik finishes the sentence by adding, “the radical, racist, Islamaphobic, Tea Party people.” Schiller agrees and intensifies the criticism, saying that the Tea Party people aren’t “just Islamaphobic, but really xenophobic, I mean basically they are, they believe in sort of white, middle-America gun-toting. I mean, it’s scary. They’re seriously racist, racist people.”

Schiller goes on to describe liberals as more intelligent and informed than conservatives. “In my personal opinion, liberals today might be more educated, fair and balanced than conservatives,” he said.

And yet, it’s these self-satisfied liberal geniuses who keep getting caught on video making self-satisfied asses out of their self-satisfied selves — while stroking would-be terrorists in a show of self-satisfied “tolerance.”

Imagine!

Imagine!

You know, liberal women have 1 thing on conservative women, and that’s feminine hygiene.

I mean, they HAVE to, right? Because of all the douchebags.

Well, not really, but that’s such a funny word, I thought it needed airing out one more time.

Committee hearings on Islamic radicalization of Americans. Richard Cohen declares ominously, “[Rep. Peter] King is setting a dangerous precedent. The government has no business examining any peaceful religious group because a handful of adherents have broken the law.” That would make sense if King were “investigating Islam.” He’s not; he’s investigating how a small segment of Muslims become radicalized.

    A “small segment”?

Schiller just recently bailed from NPR to join the Aspen Institute. I am sure it is just a coincidence.

This latest O’Keefe video is interesting because it somewhat answers a question: when the Left routinely characterizes everyone not-of-the-Left as crazy, ignorant, hate-filled Christianists bent on a Totalitarian Theocracy what hates the blacks, women, the gays, and pretty much everyone who isn’t a white male…

Do the really mean it? Or is it just baseless crap that they mendaciously throw out there to put the Right on the defensive (and scare the Middle away from the Right), but they know they’re full of shit? Or is it the equivalent of ‘red meat’ (‘green tofu’?) to keep their idiot base energized?

Apparently, some very Bright Individuals in the Elite Left seem to seriously believe all of that; and truly have no idea what the Tea Party is about, who’s in it, or what motivates Conservatives.

We might as well be speaking Esperanto.

By the same token, John, they sincerely believe that forcing us to do what they think is best for us is a kindness. Oh, how they recoil when confronted with the fact that they’re advocating for totalitarianism and slavery. Oh, Heavens no! They’re just trying to help us, poor benighted souls that we are.

And when we refuse to take our medicine, and tell them to fuck right off, it’s all our fault because we’re acting like recalcitrant children. It’s never that they’re a bunch of petite dictators forcing us to conform to ideals we don’t share and they don’t have the authority to enforce. Oh, Heavens no!
