Per Michelle Malkin, some Hillaryites have close connections with a shadowy group called NXIVM.   She reproduces some of their bilge:
NXIVM is a new ethical understanding that allows us to build an internal civilization and have it manifest in the external world. It allows us to explore our most fundamental nature and to begin to redirect our power of creation, a power that we all possess in a very human sense. It is a place where humanity can rise to its noble possibility.
Hmmmm. Looks like Roman numerals, right? Well, it could be Roman inscription for NEXIUM–AstroZeneca’s little purple pill that treats what? Dyspepsia.
 Also from Malkin:
Hey, I just remembered something. Remember the story I blogged this summer about Chinese-language ballots in Boston? One Chinese translation of Hillary Clinton’s name:
“Upset Stomach.â€Â
I think NOT. I mean, it’s about as likely as Randi Rhodes kissing the sidewalk without having been pushed in the back for NO DISCERNABLE MEDICAL REASON. Calumny!

What the hell is an “internal civilization”?
(The preceding is at maximum effect if read in the same accent and cadence as Strother Martin’s “What we have here…” moment in “Cool Hand Luke.”)

My brain parasites tell me it’s me.

The idea of 14 Bloody Mary’s is just repulsive.
I would be willing to bet my Harley she was not pushed or bumped into. She would have put her hands out to catch herself, it is almost impossible to not do that. As is, the full weight of Mrs. Ed’s head impacted without cushion - except for the love bags.

One of the lefty bloggers (NewsHounds) is now claiming that Randi has been assaulted; by Fox & Friends and the NY Post for running with the Ketel One story.

Add assault to their list of words that no longer resemble the original and traditional meanings of the word. Is there not any aspect of the English language that they will not bastardize?
Comment by JD on 10/19 @ 12:59 pm #
I mean, come on … I acknowledge that I routinely butcher the language, but at least I do not go around and use words and then just make up new meanings for them. Torture, assault, racist, sexist, homophobia, etc …

Nope.

Wasn’t she also touting the “politics of meaning”? She seems to me to be one of those who views politics as a substitute, or possibly extension, of religion.
Which makes me wonder how much of the shrieking over “Christianists” is projection…

Oh, that ship sailed, sank, and was the subject of a James Cameron movie.
They’ve already long since established that saying unkind things is “violence,” so this meaning of “assault” has been in their lexicon for years.

In the words of Swiftus, these people are nuts. N-V-T-S, nuts.

No,no. Those are 5 mph bumpers, but they don’t work as designed if you don’t put your hands out.
My soon to be ex-wife is an expert at falling down with her arms at her sides, but by some twist of kharma, she still has all her teeth.
It’s her vertebrae, her hips, and her neck that have taken the brunt of this freakish ability.
I have no idea what happened to RR, but the statement about not having eaten raises some red flags in my mind.
I do hope she is Ok, and recovers quickly, but I am of the “right”, and therefore, am a suspect in this thoroughly human occurence.

I missed the “NXIVM” connection. There’s an article that’s not available online titled “Saint Hillary”. It appeared in the NYT Sunday magazine on 5/23/93. In it there’s a quote from an address she gave on 4/6/93 at UT Austin: “Let us be willing to remold society by redefining what it means to be a human being in the twentieth century; moving into a new millennium.”
Redefine????
