Larry Craig Reiterates Claim He's "Not Gay" [Dan Collins]

After judge rejects plea withdrawal attempt. My question: does this open him up to hate crime charges? Patterico? Power Line guys? Treacher?

It’s not as bad, because he’s not a hypocrite.

Dispatched:

The Grand Rapids city manager has fired four male police officers at the center of a departmental sex scandal.

Kurt Kimball earlier accepted the resignations of another male officer, a male dispatcher and a female dispatcher accused of having on-the-job sex with the six men at police headquarters.

Kimball says the four fired officers violated city employee guidelines for behavior, embarrassed the police department and tarnished the city’s image.

The city opened its investigation in August after the female dispatcher resigned.

The police department has about 330 uniformed officers and 100 civilian employees.

Something ambigous about the male dispatcher’s role in this . . . NTTAWWT. Wait: one, two, three, four, five . . . okay.

This sort of thing is better organized in Iran.

But he is kinda “jolly”, if ya know what I mean.

Cmon folks, he’s gay as a freakin blade. He can try and parse whatever he wants-that cop caught him “redhanded”. He pleaded guilty to “disorderly conduct”-doesn’t what he did in a bathroom stall fit that category to a T?

  3. Dan Collins says:

Okay, so it’s NOT a hate crime?

    – This faux “serious issue” will be the hoped for cover while the Dems/Left quietly retreat for the time being from “teh quagmire that is Iraq”, or more accurately the political quagmire Iraq has become for the Dems.

I don’t think anyone could argue that the poll today, showing that 20% of the Lsft want us to lose this war and 20% aren’t sure, is a resounding indication of just how strongly they support the military and America. How can anyone doubt their patriotism with numbers like that.

  5. Pablo says:

Actually, Randy, it would have had to have gone a bit further for it to be “redhanded”. What he apparently wanted to do in that bathroom would have been disorderly conduct. What he actually did was not.

He could have beaten the charge pretty easily, but chose not to fight it.

He could have just beaten off pretty easily, but…

    – What do you mean “could have”?

  8. mojo says:

In the immortal words of the mayor of Hiroshima, “What the fuck was THAT?”

  9. Randy says:

Sorry Pablo-but if you were the guy sitting next to someone who peeked through the cracks at you and stuck his hand into your private space I think you’d probably feel like that conduct would be a but disorderly? He didn’t have to committ the perverse sexual act that we all know was his intent to have committed an act that violates public decency/conduct.

  10. that we all know was his intent

shouldn’t your handle be “The Amazing Rand-o!”? love the mind reading, it was better than Cats I would see it again and again.

When we were flying home from Disney, I had to drop a serious deuce at Orlando International. The stall was tiny, and the TP roll was practically on the floor. I am sure that my foot and hands would have been visible to anyone in the stall next to me. I did not worry too much about that, because I was too distracted by all of the people checking to see if there was an open stall. I had my feet braced on the stall door, so I could not tap my foot.
