   Full disclosure: I helped David a bit with the pre-editing for his book. Which means, essentially, that I acted the part of interested reader (easy enough, that, given that I was), and pressured the arguments to the best of my ability.

   I also pitched in with some examples and suggestions of my own that I thought might strengthen the piece.

   But the book is David’s baby, and — having seen the cover — I daresay it will sell well based on that alone. It’s simply a bonus that the material covered is so fascinating.
