Holy shit, man, I used to go see Throwing Muses all the time back in the day, hadn’t really thought of them in a while. Thanks for some very fond memories, Dan. The Muses used to seriously rock the fucking house.

Thats a fun vid to watch. You can play Guess the Tattoo.

It’s like your watching her tats on psychedelics.

    Or so I’ve heard.

yea and that little imp popping out of her bellybutton.

    That was kind of hot.

  6. I found that very video recently when looking for Throwing Muses stuff. You and me got too much in common, Collins.

If you’re reading this, Jeff, you got lucky on the Brad Hawpe run. Not a good idea to try Victorino like that.

I just remember there was a tree involved. She liked the tree.

Belly, Breeders, Muses, and that song she did with the Catherine Wheel was awesome, too. Most underrated chick of the ’90s, no doubt.

Preston–yeah, it’s kinda weird, isn’t it? But not a surprise, considering.
BTW, my sis and her husband (who works for the cigarette boat manufacturer Donzi) might be moving to TN.

Speaking of Belly, though, “King” was a great album, that I still ride my bike to to this day. B Moe–envy your having seen the Muses. Funny, though–when I was in college I used to go to The Rat with my pals on road trips.

This just popped up over on the recent comments thing:

    “Denver Lasik Surgeon on Forcekin”

I guess the old trout could be getting a bit myopic…

“Feed The Tree” always made me wonder if it was related to Larry Niven’s book “The Integral Trees”. Wasn’t much internet to look things up on back then. If the song IS about/related, my opinion of Belly goes up 10x.
