I had to work Saturday, and was caught up in Mother’s Day stuff yesterday, so I didn’t get to check out the news much, and glancingly. This story, though was at the top of the news all weekend. I don’t understand what the importance of the child’s gender is to the story, though.

I had some fun with that story, a couple days ago.
Now that you mention it, although the gender didn’t draw my interest at the time, you may be on to something. A male child, while guaranteed to cycle through more carbons than a female, uses less of those pesky squares.
So, in that sense, he’s an offset for her own (up until now, of course) damagingly clean bottom line…
