I Stole Your Bicycle [Dan Collins]

I stole your bicycle from the neighbor’s drive,

But when you raised a stink,

I brought it back to your garage.

Now I think it’s only fair

That everyone regard me

In a favorable light

For my generosity.

Thompson weighs in.  Fred . . . not that well-meaning ninny, Tommy.  Still, there’s a Thompson who’s still dumber and more dishonest than Tom.

Meanwhile, paul ilc is back at Bloody Scott, and the gang at Six Meat Buffet are having a busy and interesting weekend.

Maggie Katzen points to this article fisking the Time report, as well.

Funny, I just realized that throughout the hostage deal, not once did I look to the BBC for their take. Seems like a good call, since the piece you link suggests that the BBC have no contacts within the British government from which to solicit comment.

    Oh good lord.

Just a variation on “I murdered my parents but please have sympathy for me, I’m an orphan!”

  3. here’s another take on the Time article.  RTO had mentioned tearing it apart also, but I haven’t seen him online much since then. *sigh* it’s like he’s got stuff to do or something.
