Khalid Sheikh Mohammed…

confesses, and the (entirely non-representative of anyone or anything, ever) progressive netroot cabal at the Huffington Post (which is in no way affiliated with the views of either its members or its heavily-moderated commenters) react.

Apparently.

—Because it’s my guess that—just as they were when Dick Cheney was thought to be nearly blown up in Bagram—these “commenters” are actually highly-trained and carefully recruited foot soldiers from Free Republic or Townhall who, like the Islamic terror cells they are modeled after, live inside a community, often for years, waiting for their opportunity to initiate a strike that will damage the infrastructure and, in a larger sense, take a significant chunk out of the very foundation of progressive civilization.

And so the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy continues apace.

BECAUSE OF THE “ENTIRELY NON-REPRESENTATIVE OF ANYONE OR ANYTHING EVER”-OSITY!!

  2. Anonymous Coward says:

And in other news, the sun rose in the east this morning, the sky is blue, and moss grows on the north sides of trees.

I’m trying to understand how a confession that only says what we’ve known for almost 6 years is news.

  3. Carin says:

snicker- the tinfoil runs thick over there:

“That’s only because Atta, a licensed pilot working out if Huffman Aviation in Florida, ran drugs for the CIA and was seen by lots of people. Huffman Aviation was busted for having a shipment of cocaine seized earlier. Doesn’t anyone wonder what happended to that criminal investigation? Consider who the Governor of Florida was.

Atta was likely chosen to be a drug runner because he was Arab and at some later date, he would be perfect for use as a patsy in the staging of the 9/11 highjackings. The planning for that false flag was made years earlier by those who must have rejoiced when they were finally able to put someone in office who would allow their plans to go foward – the incredibly stupid an egotistical George Walker Bush.

    Reality-based indeed.

  4. BJTexs says:

HUFFINGTON COMMENTATORS ARE A BUNCH OF LYING, DELUSIONAL SACKS OF CRAP WHO SHOULD ALL BE DROWNED IN A VERY LARGE OAK CASK OF 2 YEAR OLD CHARDONNAY!!!

That having been said please be advised the above unmoderated opinion does not in anyway reflect the very sanguine opinions and/or hallucinations of the jooo, er, Mr. Goldstein nor do they in any way intimate a connection with the greater right wing community and could, in fact, merely highlight the rapidly fading sanity of an overweight, 50 something empty nester who depises his job and is seriously thinking of really kickstarting the VRWC in a very public way involving axle grease, an emu and a truckload of saltwater taffy.

    Carry on… DIE LIBERAL SCUM… ignore that…

  5. AJB says:

This is a fun game, but it works both ways.

    UN Peackeepers…

killed, and the (entirely non-representative of anyone or anything, ever) reactionary wingnut cabal at LGF (which is in no way affiliated with the views of either its members or its heavily-moderated commenters) celebrates.

  6. Tman says:

KSM sure kept busy these last fifteen years. He admitted to being involved in the first attack on the WTC, which as we know now had heavy involvement from the Iraqi secret services.

If you mention that he was connected or was abetted in any way by the Hussein regime for his terrorism works I think the entire Huffpo would spontaneously combust or something.

Best to let sleeping moonbats lie I suppose.

  7. Wow, AJB. Citing the obsessive liars at LGFWatch. That’s… not very convincing.

  8. BJTexs says:

LOL, AJB not only do you have to go back 7 months to find some unmoderated comments from “those racists at” LGF but in the comments of the blog you link is this little jewel:

    Neil said…

I wish those self-righteous, hypocritical right-wing bloggers had been killed instead.

    7/26/2006 04:36:00 PM

Must of been one of them there right wing redneck trollers, eh AJB?

Now please excuse me whilst I laugh uproariously…

PS: While both are vile, wishing death upon the sitting US VP as opposed to an anonymous UN peacekeeper seems to be just a bit more aggregious, dontcha’ think?  I know, they’re the same to mother gaia…

  9. If you mention that he was connected or was abetted in any way by the Hussein regime for his terrorism works I think the entire Huffpo would spontaneously combust or something.

Wanna see ‘em burn even faster? Tell them which politician first used a connection between Saddam and al’Qaeda as a reason for military action.

  10. BJTexs says:

    frantically waves hand

Oooo, ooooo. I know, I know.

    Would it be Bubba?

  11. Tman says:

Tell them which politician first used a connection between Saddam and al’Qaeda as a reason for military action.

If you read the statement of Laurie Mylroie to the National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States July 9, 2003 you would also find why ole Bill made these connections.

  12. Defense Guy says:

I wonder what’s next for the murderous ass.  Is there a hanging in his future?

  13. TODD says:

Those comments are a joke, right?  Can anyone be that fucking stupid?  The hatred, these people need to let it go.

  14. Patricia says:

I also like the headline at the NYT: ..is Said to Confess

Because actually he didn’t, you know, he’s Jon Stewart’s super and he’s “confessing” so Halliburton can get more luchre in Bushitler’s War for Oil and he can join the Witness Protection program and live at the Plaza.

    And all that stuff.

  15. Aldo says:

Don’t laugh.  These are the people who are driving the Democratic party’s policies on Iraq, and national security in general, these days.

Rumsfeld made a lot of mistakes, so now we’ve got Matt Stoller running the war.

  16. happyfeet says:

Jackie Northam was spinning this furiously on NPR this morning. Jackie can’t talk without this haunting creature from childhood. Meow meow torture meow meow.

  17. happyfeet says:

“evoking” was supposed to be in there somewhere

  18. furriskey says:

If you want to annoy yourself, look at the front page of today’s Times and read the comments.

I think about 90% conclude from his confession that he is clearly innocent. Assuming the other 10% would have assumed him innocent if he had denied it, I think we can safely conclude that 9/11 never happened.

Unless……it may have been a CIA plot masterminded by New York Jews as an insurance scam…

  19. grouch says:

Can anyone be that fucking stupid?

    Scary answer? Yes.

Remember, these are the folks that set the rabbit cage on fire.

  20. And why shouldn’t there be deep cover knuckle-draggers at HuffPo, pretending to be proggs?  Why, some of us have been infiltrating Protein Wisdom for months, pretending to be funny.

  21. BJTexs says:

Why, some of us have been infiltrating Protein Wisdom for months, pretending to be funny.

    **sigh**

Now I’ll have to kill you. Hold still..

  22. Pablo says:

    FREE MUMIA KHALID SHEIK MOHAMMED!

    Love,

    HuffPo

  23. Pablo says:

In addition, Mohammed admitted to being the executor of or participant in the following plots (some of which were never executed):

    — Shoe bomber operation to bring down two American airplanes.

    — Planning an assassination attempt against President Bill Clinton during his visit to the Philippines in 1994.

    — Planning an assassination attempt againt Pope John Paul II while he was visiting the Philippines.

    — Planning an assassination attempt against former President Jimmy Carter.

    — Filki Island operation in Kuwait that killed two American soldiers.

    — Bombing of nightclub in Bali, Indonesia in 2002.

    — Planning new wave of attacks on the following skyscrapers following 9/11: Library Tower in Calif., Sears Tower in Chicago, Plaza Bank in Washington state and the Empire State Building in New York City.

    Must…..maintain…..decorum.

    Must…not…imitate…nutroots.

  24. Jeff Goldstein says:

Evidently, Allahpundit is an “extremist” who equates Carter with Al Qaeda.

Greenwald has certainly learned to chum the waters.

If this guy ever had principles, they’ve long since left the nest.

  25. Mr. Goldstein,

Surely you are aware that to reach the status of Mr. Greenwald, a level that did allow his views to be -ahem- presented on the floor of the US Congress, you must have views that hold merit.

I mean, do you think that Salon.com publishes just ANYONE?

He has a New York Times bestseller. And they even made a caricature for him at Salon, which I might add shows his exquisite attractiveness.

Surely the riff raff here and at Hotair will learn their place soon enough once their betters are allowed to delete their internet accounts.

    Good DAY sir.

As a connoisseur of irony, I shall never tire of GiGi’s protestations at what a horrible person Ann Coulter is, as he does everything in his power to become her.

If we could lock the two of them in a room together, the PPV revenues would be staggering.

  27. happyfeet says:

Remember, these are the folks that set the rabbit cage on fire.

I missed this the first time around I guess. I wonder what happened to the bunny?

Oh, please, it’d be like one of those Mike Tyson 25 second PPV bouts, ‘cause that’s how long Ann would need to take Glenn(s).

  29. Karl says:

You don’t need HuffPo commenters.  You can find the KSM doubters at Time magazine and around the ‘sphere.

    And…

    wait for it…

    FDL QUESTIONS THE TIMING!!!

I saw a movie about that once.  “It rubs the lotion on its skin or it gets the hose again.”

Greenwald is Joe Dirt? Man, that explains a lot.
