The Bush Administration has agreed to join high-level talks sought by Iraq with Iran and Syria on the future of Iraq.
Sen. Carl Levin (D-MI), Chairman of the Armed Service Cmte—last seen pushing an amendment to the AUMF to exclude combat missions in Iraq—wants to know our plan for stopping Iran and Syria from arming terrorists and militias. It’s even on video.

So while they’re sending special forces and suicide bombers over the border into Iraq, we’re going to be talking with them.
While “talking” with them, do you think we could ask them to stop trying to destabilize Iraq ? Since the Iranians are such reasonable people, I’m sure they’ll have no problem agreeing. It will just depend on our tone.
