Today, February 28 at 2 PM eastern time, Heading Left’s Blog Talk Radio show will feature Lindsay Beyerstein (author of the Salon Magazine article, “Why I refused to blog for Edwards”) and yours truly (Lowell Feld, former Webb for Senate netroots coordinator) in a discussion of the role of bloggers on campaigns. Hosts are James Boyce and Nate Wilcox of Heading Left. Check it out!
If you’re in NYC, please do check out these Amanda Marcotte events.
TWO QUESTIONS: What’s with Patterico’s comments, and is anyone else able to pull up Salon at all?
John Hawkins on right-wing “scalping”? First time I ever heard that expression applied to someone going after another blogger? Marcotte, shortly before she became separated from the Edwards campaign. You know, it just tastes kind of TANGy.
I take it back. It’s even better. Rightwingsparkle quoting Salon in the first comment to this post.

I’ll give it a listen.
Jesus. Marcotte playing victim. Accused rightwing bloggers of encouraging the sending of hate mail.
One word: manshake
I knew “scalping” was far too ethnic to be a right-wing creation.
Re Patterico’s comments,
I suspect it’s because Instapundit linked his fisking of Ellerswald so that he’s getting an overload of traffic from Instpundit and the reaction from the nutroots.
P.S. You couldn’t get me to read Amanda Marcotte with your eyes to paraphrase “I wouldn’t ____ her with your ____”.
