What will be interesting will be the flight of capital from Venezuala (with the exception of government oil revenues) if it hasn’t flown already. An article in USA Today last week had an interesting comment where one expert stated that poor nations should not be sending their money to rich nations (the USA). What the expert didn’t say was capital comes to the USA because the USA is safe. Thanks to Alexander Hamilton and the rule of law, investors know that what they send here will be as safe as it can be and will return the investment and get paid back. It won’t be seized by some grandiose leader.
Something Hillary should learn.
