These thoughts seem largely to consist in a reposting of Dean Barnett’s piece from Hewitt’s site. Joe says he’s a “good conservative,” if a little “old-fashioned,” but, God help me, I just can’t help pillorying him. Fausta covered him a day or two ago, as well, I notice.

Rago is a twenty something kid who thinks he is cool because he graduated from Dartmouth and got a job with the WSJ. Actually that is pretty cool, but his comments about blogsites are going into the CBS like pajama arrogance.
By the way, I noted that there were Wikipedia sites for Jeff Goldstein and Protein Wisdom and now they are gone. Ouch. Deleted for irrelevance and vanity. Apparently millions of blog hits were not sufficient to make Jeff and Protein Wisdom relevant enough for Wikipedia. Yet creepy Deb Frich is still worthy. But Wikipedia doesn’t have any political bias does it?

That they deleted me, though, is not a surprise. I’m hardly that important. Although I think in blog terms, I’ve done a bit to influence how many blogs are written. Maybe I should lobby to be reinstated on those terms.
Jeff, give yourself some credit, Protein Wisdom is significant enought to warrant being listed on Wikipedia (Don’t let your head get too big though, the threshold for qualifying for Wikipedia falls some where in between Who’s Who and the White Pages). But here is the Wiki commentary on Protein Wisdom’s deletion. It is stuff like this that gives Joe Rago’s comments some credence. A little bunch of Wiki-dweebs who have never gotten laid and who can’t stand anything they disagree with.
