Teresa Time’s decapitated body was found after her husband, carrying the severed head in his pickup truck, swerved into oncoming traffic and collided with a sedan, killing Samantha Nina Murphy, 36, and her daughter, Jaelynne Grimes, 4. The impact caused the head to fly onto the road.
Time still faces two second-degree murder charges for the traffic deaths.
He had been scheduled to appear in state district court in July after his wife accused him of beating her.
Framed?
Not framed, just misunderstood. Or, at the very least, not thinking clearly. Or perhaps obviously batshit crazy murderously hateful.
And if your efforts to free him succeeds, can he live at your house?
One more thing. Why in stories of this type is there never any in-depth journalistic inquiry into exactly what the person was thinking, driving around with his murdered wife’s head? Was there a purpose in that action, or is there a more mundane explanation? And I challenge commenters to come up with the best mundane explanation possible…..

With the winter snows coming he probably figured that he needed some ballast in the back of his pickup to the wheels from slipping. Some people use 20 pound bags of road salt others – improvise.

Maybe the full article says where, but the part you quoted doesn’t tell us where the body was found. I was thinking he had both head and body in his pickup, and the swerving into traffic was some sort of ploy on his part, as if he was going to claim the wife was alive when the “accident” occurred.

Obviously, the cops killed her and the woman and passenger in the car hit by the pickup truck, and they set up Alofa, framed him, to make it look like he did it as a result of his political activism on behalf of the downtrodden.
