Sentiments seconded. But I am not understanding the picture—is that man being arrested? Is he injured? Is he wearing a kilt or a codpiece? Not at all being snide, but there was no accompanying text, so I don’t get the context. Could be the exhaustion…

Thanks to all the military for understanding the truth of what we face, and for all the sacrifices they are, and have made. Unfortunately, it seems that our Government is more afraid of the media than they are of the murderous nazis that get right in our face and say” “We will kill you all”. What blows me away is that most of the people in this country DON’T BELIVE THEM!!
I loved GWB, but why the Hell is he fighting a PC war? If we are going to fight a war, FIGHT A FUCKING WAR!! War is not about good press, It’s about KICKING ASS. What is this LBJ/Robert McNamara shit? Why is that asshole Sadr still alive?
This is a totally different war than Viet Nam, and yet Bush keeps fighting it as if he were LBJ.
Sorry for my French, but FUCK THAT. If W wants to fight a PC war, just get out now. You can’t beat lunatics by being PC. If we are going to back down in a year or two, just get it over with and leave now. We can just spit on all the sacrifice so many people have made, and pull out in the name of “niceness”.

That Marine is Explosives Ordinance Disposal. He was defusing a nasty bomb and it was remote detonated. He lived thru it. That codpiece is whats left of his bomb suit. Not only did he live thru it, he insisted on standing up and walking to the ambulance. Note the stretcher on the ground.
He gave the “insurgent” a salute along the way.
If only our resolve to fight jihadists worldwide was reflective of that guy’s defiance.
