How does genius Baker expect the Iranians to negotiate in good faith when we can’t even get an agreement on sanctions? They’ll continue to evade and delay, nice Amadinejab talking to western reporters while amadnutjob continues to foam up the true believers. All the while they continue to improve their missile technology and nuclear capabilities. Baker hopes that the “moderate” mullahs will step in and control the Apocalyptic fanatic but I don’t have any confidence in that model.

Again I say that assuming the good intentions of a country that closes its parliamentary assemblies by chanting “Death to America” is a fool’s errand.

– Hey, this will let us push it all under the rug, until…. well until they actually get a deliverable a-bomb, and by then maybe we’ll think of something. Maybe we can sacrifice a few cities until they exhaust their smallish nuclear stockpile when they have one, and then having shown our respect and “caring” nature for their sensibilities and culture, we can go back to the negotiating table. I vote we send Jhimmi as our principle negotiating representative. If they send him back with his head under his armpit, we’ll just have to think of some other way to appease our masters.
