  1. I read this and the previous.  I’m stupid I suppose, but I haven’t the slightest clue what the hell you’re talking about.

I was on a train once.

  3. Beck says:

What is it about?  It’s 8 auditory exerpts of a natural gas trader talking to no one in particular while at work.

I neither intended nor particularly cared if anyone actually understood what the hell I was talking about.  A few people understood, and I hope they enjoyed it.  Those who didn’t–and/or still don’t–understand, well, I hope they enjoyed it as well.

Art is not intended to be easy.

  4. burrhog says:

It was at Six Flag’s Over Texas.

So it just went around in circles.

  5. RiverCocytus says:

I thought the partial imcomprehensiblity of beck’s posts were supposed to add to the work of art that beck was building of himself.

I mean, the pants post? Classic.

  6. Ardsgaine says:

Aesthetic appreciation has been downgraded to “wtf?”

Or maybe it’s just the bemused smiles of those in the know.

  7. dt says:

    Please come back, Jeff!

  8. RiverCocytus says:

Understanding is located in a precise location between the equillibrium of knowledge and the chaos of confusion.

In that way, ‘wtf’ may be a form of the greatest aesthetic appreciation.

    Ohm?

If those “in the know” are bemused, does that mean only those of us without a clue … get it?

  10. burrhog says:

I couldn’t figure out what the ‘7’ or ‘Finale’ was doing appended to the titles of these pieces. Turns out, it was a series of posts! I thought I was responding to a non sequitur with kind.

I think my browser has trouble with context registration. It couldn’t be me!

    Please carry on Beck.

I’m a dolt but what’s the deal with the random page breaks on the main page? I miss stuff.

  11. Beck says:

Perhaps it would have been helpful to include links to previous “chapters”.  But I really hate what that does to the post visually.
