A coupla’ days ago I posted a notice about “American Jihad,” the forthcoming Harvard commencement “speech” from Zayed Yasin, former president of the Harvard Islamic Society and an affiliate of the Palestinian Center for Human Rights (who, not surprisingly, signed the infamous Israel Divestiture petition — as did the Chair of the committee who chose him for the honor). Since then, the story has grown quite a bit, and is creating quite a buzz in the North East.
(Or, as we used to say down around North Howard Street, “Shit. The ivy be shakin’ ’round the Charles, yo!)
Matt Yglesias, who sent me the original info., has been on this story like Semptex on a Jenin school girl. Today, he points me toward this (wet noodle) Harvard Crimson article, which he comments on here.
