Dan Riehl (whom I am not, much to his relief) has a fascinating little bit of internet forensics up at his site, where he appears to demonstrate that one of Claire McCaskill’s advisors has been active in American Votes, and organization funded by the ubiquitous Soros, who is, as everyone knows, out of American politics, and which touts its relation to the nut-rooters at ACORN.
Those of us who followed the strange developments in Missouri during the last election cycle might do well to remind themselves that:
[S]nce 1999, Claire McCaskill has been Missouri State Auditor, one of her responsibilities being to audit for election fraud. The question is, was one of her Senior Advisers linked with a group which should have come up under her audit, as it was linked to voter fraud in 2003?

What does it mean? Maybe nothing. On the other hand, maybe there will be injunctions to extend voting in certain precincts in St. Louis, where the Rethugs will undoubtedly have attempted to suppress voting through one nefarious device or another.

– O’Reilly mentioned an aside last night, when he was doing the M.J (I’m heavily medicated) Fox’s political spiel for McCaskill. He said that there’s apparently some couple who have invested 25 MILLION in the pro embryo stem cell agenda, where they stand to make a fortune if she get’s in and pushes the requisite legislation. That could prove interesting. Veddy interesting….
ACORN are among the most corrupt organizations working in the U.S. today. They agitate for living wage laws but in 1996 sued the state of California to be exempted from the minimum wage law (on two grounds—(1) the more they paid them the fewer they could hire; and (2) solidarity!). They also refuse to pay overtime and frequently fail to make timely payroll. Plus they’ve busted attempts to unionize their own goddamned shop.
Scumbags. The principled Left shouldn’t want anything to do with those guys.

Jackson County Democrat. Corruption and malfeasance are art forms in Jackson County, MO. If there’s a place in the entire U.S with dirtier politicians, I’m not sure where it might be. Lousiana, maybe. Cook County, IL, perhaps. Otherwise, I don’t think anyone can touch our bunch.
