“Intelligence Summit,” revisited

PJ Media’s WMD Files today features three videos from this past weekend’s Intelligence Summit (discussed here yesterday).

The first, Bill Tierney, is the man who revealed the Saddam tapes and whose translation differs from ABC/Nightline’s. Included are portions of Tierney’s opening speech followed by an interview.

Second is former Director of Central Intelligence James Woolsey, whowwas on the original board for the Intelligence Summit until he pulled out suddenly because of the alleged Russian Mafia ties of the Summit’s financier Michael Cherney. Roger L. Simon interviews.

And finally, Simon interviews Richard Miniter, author of the book Shadow War.

And finally, Simon interviews Richard Miniter, author of the book Shadow War.

That, by the way, is a reallllllly informative book.  The guy does his legwork.

  2. Miniter’s most recent, and most important, book is Disinformation. Essential reading.

Interesting, I just read about Miniter today when I was looking up something about Richard Clarke.  Apparently Richard Clarke, in his pre-Bush bashing Days, was one of Miniter’s sources for his books.

Miniter was unhappy with Clarke when Clarke’s book later came out.
