Well, my wife got part of the raise we were hoping for, which definitely helps. But that means we’re still going to be about $300 short per month. Her company wants to revisit her situation in 4 months.
I’ve been able to bring in a lot of extra income this year, but again, the $50K we’re spending on medical and taxes out of her gross is keeping us underwater.
Fortunately, we think we can survive okay on this for a while, especially if we can pay off our last credit card; this will bump our credit back up to excellent, and in 6 months or so, depending on interest rates, we may look to consolidate our two mortgages.
Thanks again to all of you who helped us out. We aren’t completely out of the woods, but we’re a lot closer than we would have been otherwise.
All our best,
Jeff, Helen, Satchel, and Tanner.
Good news.
We’re trying!
It’s not much, but I’m living on fumes at he moment. Best of luck!
