#SanBernardinoShooting — Obama remarks “It is entirely possible that these two attackers were radicalized to commit this act of terror.” [Darleen Click]

But let’s not jump to conclusions too soon …

We’re also learning more about the killers. And we’re working to get a full picture of their motives—why they committed these revolting acts. It’s important to let the investigators do their job. We need to know all the facts. And at my direction, federal law enforcement is helping in every way that they can. We’re going to get to the bottom of this.

It is entirely possible that these two attackers were radicalized to commit this act of terror. And if so, it would underscore a threat we’ve been focused on for years—the danger of people succumbing to violent extremist ideologies.

We know that ISIL and other terrorist groups are actively encouraging people—around the world and in our country—to commit terrible acts of violence, often times as lone wolf actors. And even as we work to prevent attacks, all of us—government, law enforcement, communities, faith leaders—need to work together to prevent people from falling victim to these hateful ideologies.

Really, it is our responsibility?

Ok, let’s start with purging our public colleges and universities of all this multi-cultural, anti-Western, pro-segregation via identity, crap? How about E Pluribus Unim, and melting pot, and American exceptionalism?

More broadly, this tragedy reminds us of our obligation to do everything in our power, together, to keep our communities safe. We know that the killers in San Bernardino used military-style assault weapons—weapons of war—to kill as many people as they could. It’s another tragic reminder that here in America it’s way too easy for dangerous people to get their hands on a gun.

For example, right now, people on the No-Fly list can walk into a store and buy a gun. That is insane. If you’re too dangerous to board a plane, you’re too dangerous, by definition, to buy a gun. And so I’m calling on Congress to close this loophole, now.

GUN CONTROL WILL SAVE US!

The ‘no-fly’ list is a secret list complied by the Feds which has been notorious for wrongly listing people, even children and Senators.

As if Farook and Malik were even on the ‘no-fly’ list.

For example, right now, a single man placed in the highest Executive position in the United States government can walk into the White House Oval Office and by dint of his Commander-in-Chief status work his secret stratagems to order the United States into an alliance with the Muslim supremacist Islamic Republic of Iran; empowering them with terrible wealth; practically putting nuclear weapons into their hands, to say nothing of hegemonic control of great swaths of the Middle East. That is insane. It is an instance of tyranny beyond imagining. And so I’m calling on the Congress to close this loophole, to do its duty to uphold the sovereignty of the People of the United States: impeach this immoral anti-American man. Remove him from office.

Deny the right to purchase arms if a person is on the no-fly list, and then put everyone on the no-fly list.

  3. Ernst Schreiber says:

Reminder: you can find yourself on the no-fly list for slighting the rent-a-cop groping you in the airport security line.

The other catch-22 they’re going to use is mental health. You want to own a gun, you say? That’s crazy.

Pretty soon, buying ammo is going to be like buying pseudoephedrine.

  5. cranky-d says:

As long as you remember that every new exception the left wants to apply to gun purchases is a back-door method to deny the right to self-defense for everyone, you will not be fooled by them.

In the land of Oz, Islam is peaceful and it’s guns and Christmas parties that are responsible for terrorist incidents.

Oh, also YOU are responsible if you blame Islam.

hegemonic cunt is what he is, your president food stamp

it used to be hard to understand why failmerica was so passionately reviled, on like a global level

after 7 years of food stamp not so much

    Aren’t there actually TWO lists?

The “no-fly” list and the “terrorist watchlist”?

Is it a good idea to conflate the two?

  9. McGehee says:

The progjihadis seem to think so.

  10. LBascom says:

Obama is interested in linking gun authorization to the no fly list…’cuz that’s a list HE controls.

Though he also knows he’s going nowhere with the issue, save in using it for its primary purpose: distracting from his abject failures across the board on keeping Americans safe, when in fact he allies with the Islamic Republic of Iran precisely with the aim to punish (i.e., not “keep” safe) the Americans and their former allies, like the Israelis.

    Radicalized? That’s a cover story, a lie.

Taught exactly what their professed faith required of them. That the Koran is not a book like the Bible. It is co-equal with Allah. It’s existed, with Allah from before the beginning of time. What is written in it is to be memorized and followed to the letter. If words in it that were dictated later conflict with words dictated earlier the later ones are the final true words.

Belief in that is all it takes to be “radicalized.” The “radical” actions to be taken are all written out, as commands that must be obeyed if you are to enter heaven. Those who do not follow the exact words within are either infidel or apostate. How to treat each are also written down and commanded.

This was finalized a thousand years ago when Islam was made what it is today. A faith to enslave all. Much like the “snake cult” portrayed in Conan.
