   One thing I remember most about Dragnet is how everyone talked in monotone just like Webb, including the perps.

   Another good Carson video was in the tiles after the video you linked was finished. It’s Carson doing Reagan and a “Who’s on first?” homage.

   I used to get to stay up late on Fridays to watch the monologue. Carson was The Man as far as talk show hosts go.

   Antenna TV’s bringing him back to late night, January 1. I’ve already enabled the channel on my TiVo.

   I was supposedly too young to be lollygagging languidly that late when this liturgy laid itself out, luckily this lad looked and laughed, or maybe not, as I was then lambasted and laid low linguistically by the family leaders locating my late night lark.
