DOJ moves swiftly on Planned Parenthood baby-organ harvesting scandal: Will investigate the whistleblowers [Darleen Click]

The Obama Totalitarians will brook no dissent

The U.S. Department of Justice announced plans to investigate the group that produced undercover videos showing Planned Parenthood employees admitting that they harvest and sell organs ripped from the bodies aborted babies. Politico reported the news of the coming DOJ investigation earlier today:

JUSTICE TO PROBE CENTER FOR MEDICAL PROGRESS — While congressional committees investigate Planned Parenthood’s practices, the Justice Department agreed to look into whether the group that released the sting videos obtained the footage legally. In response to a request by House Democrats, Attorney General Loretta Lynch said Wednesday afternoon that Justice would “review all of the information and determine what the appropriate steps moving forward would be.” Planned Parenthood has staunchly defended its practices and claims that the Center for Medical Progress illegally obtained its footage, then excessively edited it to misrepresent what the organization does.

The DOJ investigation of the Center for Medical Progress, which, unlike Planned Parenthood, is not in the business of killing healthy, viable unborn babies in order to sell their organs for cash, was announced after several Democratic lawmakers called for the organization to be targeted.

FUBAR.

Not even bothering to hide it.

    > Brothers and sisters, do not be afraid to welcome Christ and accept his power. Help the Pope and all those who wish to serve Christ and with Christ’s power to serve the human person and the whole of mankind. Do not be afraid. Open wide the doors for Christ. To his saving power open the boundaries of States, economic and political systems, the vast fields of culture, civilization and development. Do not be afraid. Christ knows “what is in man”. He alone knows it.

So often today man does not know what is within him, in the depths of his mind and heart. So often he is uncertain about the meaning of his life on this earth. He is assailed by doubt, a doubt which turns into despair. We ask you therefore, we beg you with humility and trust, let Christ speak to man. He alone has words of life, yes, of eternal life. <

So when do they start investigating and punishing undercover cops? I mean, those guys have to break multiple laws in order to be accepted by the cartels and Mafia groups, so they should be sent to jail for those crimes, right? Meanwhile, the actual criminals will walk free, because the evidence against them was obtained without a warrant.

Exactly the same here, because killing millions of babies in order to sell their parts (oh, right, “transferring them” in exchange for “large donations”, just as long as there isn’t an actual receipt) is more important than getting the facts behind that sale (sorry, transfer for donations) out in public.

BTW, I am not a lawyer, but I had reason to look this up a while back. In California, you must have permission of both parties to record any conversation, except when there is no expectation of privacy (PC 632(c) is the relevant code here*). Such as being broadcast on TV or radio, or at a government meeting open to the public, or when someone is talking in an area open to the public. Such as at a restaurant, where anyone walking by or at a nearby table could hear you.

IOW, no laws were broken, and when DoJ finds this out, this investigation will go away as quietly as a complicit media will let it.

    * – (c) The term “confidential communication” includes any
communication carried on in circumstances as may reasonably indicate
that any party to the communication desires it to be confined to the
parties thereto, but excludes a communication made in a public
gathering or in any legislative, judicial, executive or
administrative proceeding open to the public, or in any other
circumstance in which the parties to the communication may reasonably
expect that the communication may be overheard
    or recorded. (Relevant portion bolded)

Since Power has publically declared it intends to kick Truth’s ass, can we salute the Center for Medical Progress for bravely speaking Truth to Power?

A full on DOJ investigation. Mitt Romeny should be so lucky.

Gotta protect that revenue stream which flows from the “products of conception.”

We need a good old fashioned “Rectification of Names.”

I have asked this several times in the last week, how is this different than what 60 minutes has done for years?

Also, doesn’t PeTA do a lot of undercover video on private property?
