D-Day June 6, 1944

“Courage is the complement of fear. A man who is fearless cannot be courageous. [He is also a fool.]”

~~ Robert A. Heinlein, Time Enough for Love

ESPN should go f**k itself.

It’s always been fascinating to me that those who have great wealth and fame and are the toast of the salons in L.A. and Manhattan, are described as “courageous” for merely attempting to shock the middle class. I recall a similar reaction to Ellen Degeneres, who was described as a “modern Rosa Parks.” Really? She had multiple hit TV shows and was quite well off. As far as I remember she did not risk jail time for her Newsweek cover.

    Meanwhile Lauren Hill is forgotten.
