Obama wants to decide how much of your own money you should be allowed to spend on your family [Darleen Click]

From “You Didn’t Build That” to “Society’s Lottery Winners”

Let’s not be surprised, Obama has never had to work for an actual living in his life, so wealth creation to him is just “luck.” And like all coveting totalitarians, he believes HE gets to decide what is the proper amount of money OTHER people should be allowed to spend on themselves and their families.

This hectoring, paternalistic attitude by Barry is only outdone by M’chelle’s whining about how hard it’s been for her as FLOTUS.

The utter lack of character and integrity in these two is breathtaking.

Joe the Plummer was hip to his shtick about seven years ago.

Obama isn’t really the problem anyway, he’s just a symptom of the fucked up voters that elected him.

    Twice.

    Crosby, Stills, Nash& Young won.

Wait, he wants all this money so he can (ahem) “invest” in early childhood education? To what end? What end product does he suppose will be coming out of all this early education?

Because it sure as hell won’t be children that become any sort of success, since it is the successful people he claims are being “unfair” by having all this money in the first place.

    Right?

-OUR SYSTEM is most frequently characterized as a dictatorship or, more precisely, as the dictatorship of a political bureaucracy over a society which has undergone economic and social leveling. I am afraid that the term "dictatorship," regardless of how intelligible it may otherwise be, tends to obscure rather than clarify the real nature of power in this system. We usually associate the term with the notion of a small group of people who take over the government of a given country by force; their power is wielded openly, using the direct instruments of power at their disposal, and they are easily distinguished socially from the majority over whom they rule. One of the essential aspects of this traditional or classical notion of dictatorship is the assumption that it is temporary, ephemeral, lacking historical roots. Its existence seems to be bound up with the lives of those who established it. It is usually local in extent and significance, and regardless of the ideology it utilizes to grant itself legitimacy, its power derives ultimately from the numbers and the armed might of its soldiers and police. The principal threat to its existence is felt to be the possibility that someone better equipped in this sense might appear and overthrow it.-

Speaking of windfalls, perhaps this one can be explained.

Start with this photo and make a note of the number of views.

Click to the next one (on the right) and note the number of views.

Now the next one. Note the number of views. Now look at the next in line and note the number of views.

What’s your explanation for the disparity?

    I know my answer.

Years ago, I had a blog. I wrote a post about skiing with some nuns in the Alps. At some point, I used the phrase “strap on skis.” Thereafter, I would get frequent hits from Google searches involving “nuns” and “strap-ons.”

  9. Covetousness isn’t spoken well of in the Bible, which O claims to have read. Conclusions?

There is a special problem with Obama, his willingness to ignore constitutional limits. He can talk like a Marxist but, if he plays by the rules, he is mostly harmless like Bernie Sanders.

Race is real, motherhood is just a social construct.

Motherhood is a cultural invention. It reflects a belief adopted by society that is passed down from one generation to the next. In US culture, we hold to the idea that young children are better off when cared for exclusively by their mothers. Mothers are bombarded by this message in the media, especially in programming directed to them. Only after five seasons does Claire Dunphy, the iconic mother of “Modern Family,” return to the workplace.

Reconstruction will be done. You will be made anew. And we will do it for/to the children.

Just as housework withers away, so the obligations of parents to their children wither away gradually until finally society assumes the full responsibility. Under capitalism children were frequently, too frequently, a heavy and unbearable burden on the proletarian family. Communist society will come to the aid of the parents. In Soviet Russia the Commissariats of Public Education and of Social Welfare are already doing much to assist the family. We already have homes for very small babies, creches, kindergartens, children’s colonies and homes, hospitals and health resorts for sick children. restaurants, free lunches at school and free distribution of text books, warm clothing and shoes to schoolchildren. All this goes to show that the responsibility for the child is passing from the family to the collective.

    Paradise is awaiting you fools.

    … but according to …

Rep. Hank Johnson (D-Ga.) says with budgets like the GOP plan, “the have-nots of this country will rise up like the people in Baltimore.

[W]e’re going to have to change how the media reports on these issues.

True, but not in the way he thinks it should change.
